Truly an extraordinary supplement! I have very severe anxiety, and I have never had much luck with anything natural. This stuff is highly potent and effective, on par with a benzodiazepine which I was quite impressed with. Yet it doesn't make your thinking fuzzy. This is a true life saver for anyone suffering from anxiety who wants a non addictive natural supplement. Note: consult the web on possible side effects. From my experience, I get some numbing in the mouth and some drowsiness. It is probably best not to take too much or too often. There have been some cases of liver damage, but I would assume those people were taking huge amounts of it. This has been in use for 100s of years so I would say it is not dangerous. As for taste, well it tastes very bitter to me, but it is still drinkable.

I think this stuff would be great if I could get it down without gagging. It just tastes so vile to me. I've tried mixing it in a smoothie, with milk, with apple juice....(and with my nose plugged ) How are people doing this?

First off, the taste is horrible. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about, plus I felt absolutely nothing from this product. Tried blending, mixing, double quantity, and still nothing. overpriced as well.

Decent kava to try and see how you like it, a bit more costly since it is an instant but you can mix it into juice, water, etc this way. The jar is a heavy glass and easy to reuse!
