Great headset for the price point. I love the RIG hub and now and then actually plug in my bose headphones for extended movie listening. Headset works great for my conference calls and for listening to music/movies/games. Headset starts to hurt after about 4 hours of continuous use, but to be expected at this price point (and honestly does better than many headsets that are even more expensive).

Great thought to the design, even the connector is nicely designed so I can plug/unplug it into the RIG when I need it or directly to my phone if I want to move around.

I would have loved a little bit of a longer cord (another foot or two) but it's fine, they use a standard plug so I can get an extension if I need it.

UPDATE 1: I've owned this over two weeks now and would say I do indeed still love it. One thing I didn't realize was really awesome about it is this type of mixing feature. I have my iPhone plugged into this and love that now while I'm doing work and listening to my computer that sounds from my iPhone now come through on top of my music. I didn't realize I could have the mobile audio turned up so that they can over lap (you can of course reduce it to 0 so that no sounds come through). This has been fantastic for me in the last two weeks where I would sometimes not realize that people were trying to get a hold of me on my phone.
I still wish the headset was a bit more comfortable for the long duration listening times (4+ hours) but like I said, I just plug my bose into the mixamp thing and I'm good to go.
Also in checking my mic quality with others, everyone has said I sound great. The plantronics website for the rig has a great demo how it all works: http://www.plantronics.com/us/rig/

This headset it awesome! It works amazingly and sounds great. I use these for PC gaming and couldn't have asked for a better headset! I bought an auxiliary cord with mine because I had read another review that said it didn't come with it to plug in your phone to the headset. Don't pay any attention to that review because that cord is hard wired into the RIG. I wish the cord was a little bit longer, but I can always buy an extender if I need it.

What I love about this device is that I can talk on my phone while still playing the game. I always hate when I receive a phone call in the middle of a boss fight and I have to pull my headset off while trying to still kill the boss and answer my phone all at the same time. With this headset you don't have to do that. You just push one button and you are talking on your phone through the headset! Best part, no one knows you are on a headset. Everyone says how great I sound, and one said I sound even better on the headset than when I talk using the phone's speaker phone. I also like how I can play the music on my phone while still listening to the sound of the game. I can also adjust the sound settings separately from each other. The only downfall (which I know you can adjust I am still trying to figure it out) is that I cannot listen to the music from my computer to and the headset, and adjust that volume separately. I need to look more into the device settings to figure that out more and will update my comments when I find it.

The headset is also very comfortable. I can sit down wearing these longer than I could my other headphones, but these were also a lot more money. My last headset was a cheap $40 one, but they still sounded good. These sound better, look better, and feel better.Read more ›

This is an incredible headphone/mic setup. I love the functionality of being able to plug my phone and toggle between computer work (or gaming/streaming) and talking on the phone without having to take the headset off. The sound quality is exceptional at all volumes, both the highs and the lows. The only downside is the boom can't be removed or rotated so it's always at that angle. For the price though, this is the best gaming headset available.

You can plug your phone and computer into it at the same time. You can always hear the phone, and there's a physical switch to disable the computer sound and switch the mic to the phone. This is great for taking a quick call during a long game, video, etc. I includes lots of volume control options as well.

Sound is decent and I haven't had a problem with the mic.

It was really good for its price point, the sound quality is good, the microphone picks up sound really well and playing around with the mixer was fun. But just after just 1 month of usage, the left speaker (the one with the microphone attachment) is no longer working, moving the boom microphone around tends to get it back to live, but after a few seconds the sound is lost again which is really frustrating because both the right speaker and the boom microphone work fine. With just one speaker, I can no longer use it.

Don't buy this used.
Mine arrived, I unpacked it, installed the software, and tested it.

The chat audio channel does not work, basically useless product. I wish amazon tested their used products completely instead of just reselling them instantly after plugging them into a ipod and going "oh, it works" boom back up on amazon.

The headset itself feels really nice, I'll have to update my review once I get a NEW one in.

Update: New one I got in has a different problem, constant white noise, also the other audio channel only works when I replug in the device.

This headset is garbage. Avoid it at all costs.
