In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which, when translated, expresses the ancient ideal of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Taking the acronym of this phrase, ASICS was founded on the belief that the best way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle is to promote total health and fitness. Today, ASICS offers a full line of performance-driven athletic shoes and technical active sports apparel and accessories dedicated to bringing harmony to the body and soul.

    This is a great shoe for a nice price. I'm in my late 60's and have very flat feet. My husband and I do a 5 mile trail walk almost every day. These shoes provide good stability and support. I wear a 71/2....the fit is true to size. Shopping Amazon for my Asics is great and fast too. Their return policy can't be beaten. Thanks Amazon😊😭

    I love these shoes! I am hard to please as well due to planters factitious, fallen arches and lots of screws in my ankle. Great arch support and really beautifully designed shoe. The photo doesn't do them justice. They make me happy looking at them and wearing them. I only wear them to work out and they feel great! Great price too!!

    I like to do plyometrics and simple weight lifting at the gym. These shoes provide the stability and support for a good workout and feel great. The bonus is that they look great. I prefer stiffer sidewalls on my gym shoes so my feet don't glide when I lift weights or do lunges, etc. These are great. More arch support than Reebok crossfit shoes, and more foot support than my other running shoes. I have normal feet that are just a little narrow and they fit fine. I love the colors, the corral and turquoise add a nice pop. Love them. Only had a week, but so far they are my favorites.

    I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit very well. The first day out required a little breaking in, I had some tightness on the right side of my foot. But after wearing them a couple of days, they're great. I wear them for walking/jogging. I would absolutely buy them again.

    I LOVE these shoes! It's not often I can find ahoes that fit me correctly (because I have huge feet!) But these fit perfectly! I wear size 11.5. I have a lot of foot problems (planter fasciitis, arthritis and flat feet) and these support my feet really well! I also have insoles I have to wear and these shoes do have enough room for them! The colors are really pretty! I would highly recommend these shoes!
