This is an absolutely STUNNING and BEAUTIFUL water bottle. The photo on the product image doesn't do justice to how truly nice it is when you first receive it.

The item was packaged in a nice box (see video) and covered with a bottle bubble wrap. There was sufficient packaging to not crack the bottle in transport which I found great because this bottle is TRULY all glass. It is sooo nice. The bottle is slightly heavy but sturdy and cups in the hand nicely. I am a little nervous I may drop this someday and it will shatter - but until then it will be my new favorite bottle.

Hot liquid or cold liquid can be stored in this. The double insulation is nice and looks really sleek. The liquids inside stay hot or cold for HOURS.

The lid is another story. It is made of the NICEST plastic and feels sooo great. No expense was spared on item materials when creating this bottle. There is not a flimsy or cheap feeling part. The button on the top that opens and closes the drinking hole is thick, smooth and presses nicely. There is a silicon seal that prevents liquids from leaking out the sides - it stays perfectly on the rim (see video) and can be washed when you are cleaning this.

I would recommend placing this on the top rack of the dishwasher (the GLASS part) and hand washing the lid (i'm not sure if it goes in the dishwasher or not but it is soooo nice I wouldn't want to chance it) Also careful carrying this around - it is solid glass and most likely can break at any time although I think the glass is a bit thicker and provides for a more durable bottle to travel with.

Overall if you are a looking for a CLASSY GREAT healthy water bottle (no chemicals will leech into your liquids with this for sure) this is your best bet. Extremely stylish and remarkably efficient.

Ordered this to use for work. The first one I ordered arrived broken, so I sent it back and the second one arrived in excellent condition. I use this everyday to carry fruit water to work. I like that the top has a clicking motion button to seal/unseal for drinking. I feel that having this helps encourage me to drink more water throughout the day.

... but mine totally leaks. The outer seal is defective. I'll try to get this one fixed, but it doesn't seem like a catastrophic design flaw so much as a bad choice of material for the o-ring. [Edit: the o-ring's outer diameter is 2mm too small to properly fit the glass aperture. Too lazy to call the company.] [Edit2 (2014.01.14): wrote the company via their website. No response.]

Anyways. Take care of your shiny new thermos, and it will take care of you. None of the parts impart a flavor or odor, acquire discoloration over time, or are especially fragile. The lid is hollow plastic, and thus retains water. It doesn't take much - just a 5-minute soak, and you can hear it sloshing around inside a place that should not have water in it. I would think a hole drilled into the bottom of the lid might fix this. This is the kind of thermos you take with you in the car, because it neither floods your face nor dribbles into the cup holder (my leak issue excepting) you don't need to look at it to drink with calm, confidence. But be careful not to burn yourself, because this doesn't dissipate heat quickly.

Best use: tea snob who demands to see color and quantity, but doesn't guzzle a pint or more at a time ('murica).
Not recommended for: bike canteen. The company recommends it as such, but carry glass on a bumpy ride at your own risk.

Asobu has a product here that they can be very proud of. I love that it is made of double glass as I am trying to get away from plastic as much as possible. I have received several compliments. I love to drink lemon water during our hot Arizona summers. I took the bottle with me on errands the other day but did not drink out of it. I wanted to see how long it would stay cold. Well it stayed cold for hours. I love the cap. You just press down the button and it locks while you drink from it. I also love the fact that it does not sweat. It is very reasonably priced especially because you,can use it for both hot and cold beverages. Thank you so much for allowing me to try this product at a deep discount in exchange for an honest opinion.

This is a double wall glass drinking container, not a vacuum insulated bottle. Since it is not as good as vacuum insulation, when drinking ice water, water condenses on the outer side of the glass, making this bottle slippery. Additionally, the button is not ideal. Unless you consistently press on one half of the button, the open or closing mechanism becomes faulty and sometimes will not open. I am unable to completely drain the bottle when drinking and completely invert the bottle - there always remains about 1 mL of my drink unless I uncap the bottle. In terms of aesthetic appearance, this bottle is quite nice looking, especially the glass portion. However, given the price I paid, my expectations were apparently too high for its performance.

This is unlike any other travel mug I own. The first thing I noticed was how heavy it is. Then, the quality. It looks great and is so nice. It is a 14 ounce double wall glass mug that holds both hot and cold liquids at the same temperature for hours. Has a very easy to use push button that makes for easy drinking. It is pretty big more like one of those stainless steel mugs you see around. I love that I get a decent amount of my drink in this cup and I don't have to refill a ton of times. Super classy, great for summer time. I was sent this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
