    This item was a total waste of money. It fits fine, but the top will not stay up. It constantly rolls down and is very uncomfortable. I will probably never wear it again. If you want good shape wear, try Rago.

    Love a panty shaper that works as a shaper (with some hold, not just mild stretchy fabric) but still looks sexy, which is pretty hard to find. Manufacturers seem to think "girdle" when designing. The lace pattern and the cut on these make them look nicer than the usual boring shapers. My only wish is that they came in a higher cut leg. The rosewood color is great under light colors and the black under darks. Hope Bali continues to produce these instead of every season dropping old styles to make something else.

    This product does the job. They offer moderate control, and they don't look like shapewear. In fact, the ones I got (black lace) are actually kind of pretty. My only issue is that, as some other reviews have mentioned, the leg openings are weird. They're really high cut, so when the panties are pulled up all the way they have a propensity to cause odd bulges at the point where they stop on your leg, unless you have really thin legs. However, this is easily remedied by pulling them down a little bit (though this makes them slightly less high waisted.) Other than that they fit fine - They pair especially well with high waisted pants/skirts. I'm considering getting another pair in Rosewood. For reference, I have a 30 inch waist and 42.5 inch hips, and I got an XL. (I'm a size 10 - 12 in pants normally, so I'd recommend buying a size up!!)

    I normally wear a size 7 panty, which is a large, but I bought an XL since I had used this item before. Fits just great and I am completely happy with it. Just enough support which I would class as medium. Is a pretty soft lining and very comfortable. I recommend it.

    This is a fairly comfortable control brief. I ordered both the pink and the black. I bought this for hip-hugging pants that tend to slide down. I don't mind showing black lace. The lace is semi-transparent. Also these eliminate tiny bulge under tummy where tight skinny jeans tend to hit. I am a size 6-10, and the large tend to be stretchy but tight. All that being said, you'll be glad to ease out of these at the end of day. "Girdle" is a bad word, but that's what these are essentially.

    This pattern is really cute. I wasn't sold on the point above the hip for the first month of use but these are great. They really hold you in giving you confidence, and the fabric is top notch! The lace is strong and durable and haven't shown any wear from the washing machine. Lastly, these are really sexy! All in all, a great panty choice.

    EDIT: I wanted to update my review to mention how soft these panties are - even after several months of what feels like contest use. They are a firm lace - a soft firm lace. It isn't going to feel like silk, because it actually holds you in, but is a soft fabric. I also noticed some reviews mentioned it rolled down. I had my first experience with this. For me it was the way the slacks I was wearing cut into my torso just (maybe 1") below the top of these panties. If I bent over the panties did roll. With that being said, I've only had this problem one time. These panties do great as shapeware! I had originally purchased these in black, as I found that to be a sexy color (and looks sexy on - which I'm not at the age where brief and sexy are usually in the same sentence). When I noticed these were on sale I bought another pair in the Rosewood to wear under my wedding dress. I know these panties will stay in place, give me good control, and allow me to boogie all through the night. These are a great purchase and I'm glad I found them. I do wish they came in a blue shade as that would be perfect under my dress.

    I also wanted to add some of my specifics, I'm 5' 3" with a rectangular shape (size 10-14 depending on brand) and find these to be great for my shape and size - ordered a large.
