Female end, Neutral and Positive side to large

It is unfortunate, the cord is mostly what it says, however I found the female end is to large of an opening on the neutral and hot(positive) side for most male ends and it does not stay plugged in and causes sparks. I am disappointed but it is 14/3. I cannot tighten the inner connections either, so I will have to call the company.
