I deeply regret buying this mat and am having the same issues as reported by some other users. The edges of the mat after only about a month of use are now all about 1 inch off the ground and it is impossible to roll the chair over the mat and even trying to step over it is becoming a challenge. My wife stubbed her toe on it the other day because it was curled up so high. This thing is basically useless despite my efforts to bend the edges back down to their proper shape. Its really entertaining to watch my roomba try to clean my office now because it is constantly bumping into the mat and has no chance of going over it.

- It will become bowl-shaped and not only useless, but a major annoyance
I am going to look into returning this item but its so oddly shaped that it probably won't be worth my money to ship it back. Avoid this mat at all costs.
edit: I have added a picture with a ruler to show what the mat looks like with an empty chair sitting on it, the effect is more pronounced when I am actually sitting in the chair.
