These cups are a lot nicer than expected! They're regular paper on the inside, but the outside is wrapped with a textured styrofoam, which makes gripping easier. The plastic lid snaps on securely, and a little lever on top slides back and forth to open/close--genius!

Testing it out with coffee brewed from my Keurig machine, the outside of the cup stays pleasant to the touch while the contents stay hot. No spilling at all during normal use. Fits nicely in my car's cupholder.

I suppose if there's a negative it's that using disposables is not as environmentally friendly as using a cup you wash daily. But hey, it is what it is. :)

I have a large coffee mug that I have had for about 20 years. Now that I am retired I find it to be too big to use for the short trips to town. What I do now is start with the big mug while around the house and then pour the coffee into the grab and go cup when we leave. They fit in the cup holders and do a good job. One thing to be aware of is if the coffee is hot it will remain that way for a while. There is no way to "blow" on the coffee in these cups. That is pretty much a given for this type of product and I find these to be very well made and very useful.

I buy these types of disposable insulated drinking cups, because I am not the greatest about unloading dirty mugs from my car. Instead I like these which I can just toss after use, (not very planet friendly - but I consider it a trade off to not spend time in the drive through at the coffee shop in the am. This particular brand has a little bar to close off the little sippee slot. A downside of most insulated disposable cups is that they don't retain the heat all that long, however these provide the ability to close off the spout until I are ready to drink - genius! I find that this little improvement over the standard lid, contributes to greater heat retention.

Normally I drink my coffee out of a glass but I wanted to try these for travel and my experience is less than stellar. Every time I drink my coffee from these cups it ends up causing the coffee to have an off taste to it. I've tried rinsing the cups before using but that didn't seem to help either. I'll just end up buying a travel mug.

I love this Smart Top so much more than the other lids! So much easier to keep from spilling! I don't normally like to use disposable cups at home but none of my thermoses fit in my car cup holder or in my stroller cup holder, and Mama needs her coffee! If I can't make a Starbucks run I bring my coffee from home out with me. I use these instead of my thermoses and they fit perfectly. With the Smart Top I'm not spilling any coffee and I'm a happy lady.

Bought these because I was looking for a disposable cup I could close completely for traveling. They get the job done, but please be aware that you can't re-heat these more than once or it will start to drip from the bottom.

With our society being always on the move, taking a hot drink with us has become a quest for the perfect cup. I think Dixie has solved that problem.

They have made a 12 ounce insulated disposable cup. The best part is the lid has a slide that opens and closes for drinking. Since the cup is not made of paper but rather a styrene-type material, you can refill it and it won’t become soggy.

So, if you are on the go like I am, these cups will be the perfect item for carrying your hot drinks.
