I got this on Wednesday for my kid. In 2 days, he has leveled it to 45. Kirby has a mind of his own, and is now regularly beating my son and his friends in Super Smash Bros. Kirby now taunts them, does a little dance, and messes with them. It's hilarious to watch. They are now scared of Kirby, and have decided they are probably going to have to bury him in the yard when he gets to level 50. It has been well worth the money to watch Kirby knock those boys down a few notches! ;)

I purchased this as a form of home security. After a series of break ins in my neighborhood, I was forced to look into various forms of protection for my home, and I believe this one is the best. I placed Captain Falcon behind my front door, ever watchful, and ever vigilant. Last Friday, I came home to a five dead thieves in my front yard. The coroner stated that it was if they had all been beaten to death with a large, fiery, blunt object.

Note: I leveled him up on Smash Brothers first. A level 1 Captain Falcon may not actually detect danger.

So, let me just say that I have been a long time LoZ fan since the very first game. That means I have been playing since 1986. So, thirty years of making with the stab-stab in the Land of Hyrule has garnered me quite the warrior of legend reputation.

No, correction. Nearly thirty years of saving freaking Princess Zelda over, and over, and over again. No, seriously. I get the whole "I'm reincarnated and don't know better" thing, but literally almost every time this girl gets abducted, it starts with some powerful dude from the Gerudo people showing up and wrecking the day. His name is always freaking the same. Not even sure how that is getting past Hyrulian immigration. Then I got to go on this long quest to save the world from being destroyed, all because this girl never cracked open a history book. At the end of the whole ordeal, what is the reward? Knowledge of a job well done and maybe a handshake. If I'm lucky.

Finally got tired of the grind. Bought her off of Amazon and locked her inside a safe inside a box labeled "sand fleas." I figure any Gerudo warriors will see that box and be like "I hate sand fleas, no way I'm opening that." Ganon can look all he wants, it just isn't going to happen this time. As an added precaution, I put my Captain Falcon amiibo on top of it. So, I give this item five stars because it's going to save me so much time in the future.

P.S. Works great with Smash Bros. Put her next to my Link amiibo, but they still won't kiss. Tried playing different songs from the series to enhance the mood, but the Song of Time always starts me back at square one.

My little Link amiibo was fun for the first couple of days. Playing with it in Super Smash Bros. was like playing with your little brother for the first time and teaching him the tips and tricks you have learned from your years of gaming experience. But this amiibo learned way too fast! After only a few battles with my friends, my Link amiibo leveled up to the max level of 50. During its transformation from infant know nothing to unstoppable force of sword swinging mayhem, it learned to perfect guard, catch almost every item thrown at it, and edge guard like a mofo!

While this is a cool peripheral and a nice bit of technology, it is no longer fun to fight against this monster that I have created. Even playing with my Smash veteran friends, we had great difficulty taking this figure player down. During free for all, it is pretty much impossible for this guy to lose.

In conclusion, for under $13 this is a great way to waste your time, especially when you don't have others to play with you locally. Just prepare to have that feeling that you're digging your own grave. My Link amiibo requires a worthy opponent. I must train another, to take on this champion.

Maybe all the other retailers should take note....1 amiibo per person and a lot of happy costumers and a lot more sad scammers that like buying tons just to charge ridiculous prices,..... we all forget this are meant mainly for children who don't have jobs or the means to spend hundreds of $$$$ for a toy THANK YOU AGAIN,....I GOT MINE AND MY SON IS HAPPY :)

This thing is awesome. Little Mac doesn't have the most detail, but Nintendo really captured his muscle definition in his physique. For the price it would have been nice if Little Mac had more detail in his hair and on his boot strings. Still, Little Mac looks remarkable and will look great displayed.

Nintendo has managed to release my innerchild with these and make me want to purchase them all. If you are lucky enough to find this on sale, don't hesitate.

Palutena is a great character in Smash and the amiibo looks pretty good.
As a side note, this was by far the best experience I've had trying to get an exclusive amiibo. All of the amiibo pre-orders should be handled this way! Awesome job, Amazon. Keep up the great work :)
