Shipped as indicated. Was very out of tune when I got it out of the box, so be prepared for that! Once tuned it sounds great and as a 20 year old beginner it's perfect! I can't wait to play it with friends and take it with me everywhere!

Was excited to get it. Package was great, large box. Like all others, tuning will take awhile to tune. It was totally off. Looks good, feels good. Once tune started to play some of my tunes and it sound like one of those swap meet Ukulele. Usually I strum more on the fret board close to the hole. Even if I play right over the hole the sound does improve but it still too soft and not happy or joyful sound. Compare to my High end Ukulele. I know the price was great and I read the review and was mostly positive so I gave it a try. Wanted to use this as my take around playing tunes but the way it play and sound. Don't think it is worth it. Unless I got a lemon. May try getting from Diamond and see how it does vs this. Not worth taking the time to return it being the price was under $20. I know lots of positive on it but until you actually play with it you will understand what I have to say. Again the look is nice, feels solid, but for what it say on the AD, it's not. I gave it 2 star being it came on time, looks good, solid built. I wouldn't even give it to my grand kids if they where serious in learning to play. I guess what have to pay more to get the true sound of a Ukulele. Real Ukulele player will understand what I saying. SO FOR ME ITS A NO GO, NOT WORTH IT

I have never played ukulele before, but wanted to try something new, and this is perfect! It's a little difficult to keep in tune, but it should be fine with new strings. Recommended this to all my friends :)

I have eight ukuleles in all price ranges and sizes. Including a dolphin bridge Makala that I keep for visiting kids and irresponsible adults to play. I wanted to buy another to give as a 13th birthday present since I knew it could handle being tossed in a book bag and played roughly but with good strings could still be played nicely, easily. (Which is key - playing a bad instrument is frustratingly hard.)

Read the reviews and decided to take a chance on this instead. Sooo thrilled and surprised with the results. I bought it a week early so I could change strings and play enough to get them to hold tune but it already comes with Aquila strings standard not the cheap flimsy black toy strings on most at this price point. Took the normal 4 days of playing to get stretched enough to keep tune through a full session. Very sweet, authentic soprano Uke sound. Intonation is much better than expected up the neck per electric tuner.

The shipping box was so cute I kept it for the packaging just added a huge burlap bow. The Snark tuner I got to go with fit perfect under the neck so forget buying a different all in one package for a gift, just make your own with this Uke.

She loved the gift and at this price point I think I'm going to get myself a second one in orange for keeping in the car this summer. (4 stars because there were minor cosmetic flaws in the paint. )

This has a great sound and is wonderful for the price. If you are getting it for a child, however, I do not recommend this exact model because the finish chips off very easily. I have only had it two months and it looks very dinged up, even though we always supervise our kids using it. I am no helicopter mom, I will admit, but I never let my kids abuse their musical instruments. I have another Rogue ukulele that I bought my older child 4 years ago, and it almost still looks new and has definitely been treated less than carefully at times over the years. This one does sound a little better than that one though. But for us, we just wanted a kid sized instrument that sounded decent enough, so the rogue is fine.Hope this helps!

Gave this to our 6 year old for Christmas this year and he loves it... just not as much as me and his mother! It is well built, easy to tune, sounds great and is an absolute blast to learn to play! I highly recommend this little Uke to anyone wanting to learn and play around on such a beautiful sounding instrument!

Figured out how tomtunenit, it is NOT easy. Guy explained it's due to the nylon strings not the Uke itself. So once tuned and played it's good, but goes easily out of tune till we play some more. New to this.

My nine year old son loves his ukulele. He taught himself how to play using this, along with a mobile app and some you tube videos. He now knows over a dozen chords and is loving his new pass time. This ukulele has served him well so far.
