    These shoes are fantastic. They aren't a "skinny" shoe. I wouldn't say they are wide, but they aren't skinny (which is nice, it doesn't squeeze my foot like some other shoes).
    They are clean cut and simple. They will be great for skating or just walking around

    They look really good. Comfortable but fit a little looser than my previous pairs of lakai's, especially in the heel. Also their insoles aren't what they used to be, so i swapped them out with some sti2's from an old pair of es's

    I've been skating these for around 1 week and they are superb! The vulcanized outsole is super grippy and so far is holding up very well. The simple one piece suede toe cap is perfect, and with the high set laces you'll never rip a lace! Really comfortable and have a classy clean look!

    These shoes are light, super-comfortable and look great, but on to the important stuff, how they skate:

    Been skating these for 2 weeks, I was a little skeptical as to how they'd skate, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their simplicity makes them awesome and predictable for skating, and the fact that the laces are high up is great, because you don't tear through them nearly as quickly. Usually after a week I'd be tying and re-tying shredded laces every session or two. Not the case with these.

    The only downside as far as I can see is that they are kind of thin on the top and sides, The canvas in the front actually is a little more durable than I thought, seems like there are 3 thin layers, but still it's not much. So if your main concern is something that will last a long time, then look elsewhere. To me though, their comfort, style and skate-ability are much more important, I'd rather have a kick-ass shoe last for 2 months than a so-so one that lasts me 3 (if you don't skate daily or don't ollie/kickflip a lot, they will probably last you longer than 2 months btw). If they added another layer of canvas to the front section I think these would be the perfect skate shoe and I'd definitely rate them 5 stars.

    Overall though, I'm super stoked on these, and will be ordering the exact same pair to replace my current ones.

    I have been a big fan of Lakai for years. As a man in my late 50's, they are perfect for me. Stylish, comfortable, with a great suede look to them. Lakai shoes have lasted me for many years and I will continue to purchase their brand. I highly recommend these, just wish they had more colors in the MJ series suede as I would purchase those as well. Great shoe, check them out.

    So I skateboard everyday and I usually go through a pair of shoes every month. These shoes are amazing, the laces are at an angle so the grip doesn't always tear at it when I flick my foot. So fair there are no holes along the side of my foot, overall these shoes are amazing for skateboarding. The price for these shoes are definitely worth the money and they are very durable when it comes to skateboarding. I HIGHLY recommend these shoes to any skateboarder looking for a good pair of skate shoes.

    Nice summer shoe to wear with shorts, but they are definitely on the narrow side. I almost returned mine as my feet could barely fit in them when I first got them. After a couple of wears they finally "broke in" and are a lot more comfortable now, but would advise to order a 1/2 size bigger than normal.

    As a mom, I can't stand shoes without arch support, but these skate shoes are all the rage with my son (6th grade) and his friends. His skate shoes don't last very long because he is very hard on them & constantly working on new skate tricks. For now, he is using these Lakais as his everyday shoes for school (because they are only one week old), but it will only be a matter of weeks before he starts skating in them. To me, they look very much like the Nike Stefan Janoski shoes, except that the sides of the Lakais are canvas (as opposed to being totally suede like the Janoskis). Maybe they will last longer because of this? Not sure. My son wanted these so badly, that I'm sure he would never admit if they didn't feel good on his feet. I guess if he's happy, I'm happy...lol! The shoes look nice & I got them on sale, but it's too soon to know how sturdy they will be.
