For anyone with limited chewing mobility or if you just want to puree your food, this little machine packs a punch! It even grinds coffee beans. It comes with cups that already have preinstalled blades. You just put the cup on the base (very sturdy) and TWIST! There is no on or off button -- it's powered automatically when you twist into the base like you're grinding coffee. The cups are small, medium, and large. They all come with lids for storing your puree. Excellent for making smoothies.

Found this same unit locally for about $10 less so I'm glad I didn't pay full price. It does not work well on frozen fruit like strawberries, mango or ice cubes. In fact the entire contents froze and the motor started to overheat with just a couple of chunks of frozen mango. It also does not seal in liquids very well. Even with careful tightening there is always a small amount of leakage. The large size cup makes about a 10 oz drink but be prepared for some chunks. That being said, it's cheap and reasonable for making small size smoothies with fresh fruit, milk or juice and about 1/2 cup of crushed ice max. Next time I'll buy a more powerful unit with a larger cup.
