Growing up, my parents had this amazing hand and nail brush that my dad and I would use to wash our hands after working on the car or around the house. It was designed very much like this one (with the single row of bristles on the back for getting under the nails), but it came from the hospital where my sister was born 22 years ago. I found it via a medical supply company, but I wasn't willing to pay $50 for a dozen of them. I've had several since then that fell miserably short of that surgeon's brush, until I found this one. It's every bit as good as the one from the hospital, and possibly even better due to a simple design change (the scalloped sides that allow for better grip - the other one was ribbed, but not "wavy"). The large brush side is great for scrubbing your whole hand and removing grit and grime, while the angled row on the back is great for getting dirt out from under your nails. At the current price, I'd recommend buying a few of them to keep around the house (I bought two and the shipping didn't go up any).

I got 4 of them. I am very happy with the purchase. This is the best nail brush I have ever used.

This brush is the perfect balance of firmness to clean but still leave your skin on.

I work in the garden and other fun dirty projects. I hate to take a home project to work with me under my finernails. Rubbers surgical style gloves start out fine but often break and I still end up with grubby nails.
The nail strip on the top of the brush does a great job getting gunk out frm under may nails

The brushes I got were yellow instead of orange but I couldn't care less about the color. I posted some pictures of the product.

I have been looking for a good nail brush for getting garden crud off of my hands and feet, especially from underneath my nails.... I bought 4 types from Amazon, and this one is by far the best. It's cheap and very effective. Doesn't look so pretty, but it is built to last. Love it!

I know, it's a bit odd to gush about a sub-$2 item, but this brush is hands (and nails) down the best darn value for your buck.

I've been putting off buying a replacement for the brush I've been using for the last 20+ years, because I couldn't find anything with the one feature that makes it stand out: a row of bristles on the top/back that's correctly angled to get under your nails without holding your fingers "just right."

But the Eppco brush has it! (In fact, the two are so close in design that I suspect my Tomac brush, originally made for American Hospital Supply, was made by the same folks.) Although it's slightly lighter, I was comfortable using it this morning and it cleaned my nails like the other, in no time.

Well worth the price, even if shipping costs more than the two I purchased.

Everyone should have a dozen of these around the house. This is the best/closest thing to the disposable pre surgical brushes that used to come with Phisohex/phisoderm about thirty years ago. These are the best out there and they are priced great. I have a bunch and have given a number of them out to others that I know that get their hands dirty on a regular basis.

Every shop needs stock of these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After searching local stores and not finding what I wanted, I found this one on line. I'm a gardener, so my hands are frequently in the soil. All the other brushes I've tried have had bristles that are too limber to do a good cleaning job. This one is perfect and also one of the least expensive.

After using almost daily for the last 60 days, the bristles have worn down from repetitive use to a point where they no longer accomplish the task they were designed for. A brush from the dollar store would have sufficed.

I bought this specifically for the side bristles that are perfect for getting under the fingernails. They just don't sell anything like this at the drugstore, walmart, target, etc... The only issue I have (which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars) is that the bristles are just a bit on the rough/stiff side for softer hands. Other than that, it's great!
