THe quality is so much better than I thought that it outweighs my function issues,but probably won't need another one in this size ornaments squares.

1. Outside square is very strong have duty cArdboard covered securely with heavy fabric and reinforced edges/seems/corners
2. Strong bottom with a solid heavy duty panel that you place in the bottom
3. 4 rows of heavy duty cArdboard with a panel to place between layers
4. Same heavy duty cArdboard covered in fabric with reinforced edges for the top
5. Strong,well secured handles
6. I only wish there was a strap or snap to secure the lid, it secures itself well,but I would prefer an absolute lid,not just placing it on top...zipper,snap,flap,.ties,anything.

function issues:
The size of the squares is absurdly small. They fit only the smallest of my christmas balls,a few handmade ornaments,and soft punishable ornaments,all without tissue space. I am not a large sized ornament person. I celebrate life's milestones and special memories with corresponding ornaments each year,so most are small or medium sized. I don't like big ornaments because tree branches for them are very limited on a real tree. Yet,this will not even fit my smallest hallmark ornament, the snoopy birdwatching I got this year,the box is the smallest of all my boxed ornaments, it is too big for this square. Yes, I can remove the rows to make them bigger,but the cardboard protects the ornaments and keeps the square sturdy. Also, I already have older similar boxes where I took that route and it defeated the purpose,they are just boxes now. I wanted good storage for my best ornaments,none of them fit. This box is a God send. I have been looking for years to put my ornaments in an orderly fashion without using cardboard boxes. These are sturdy, and makes everything looks so nice and neat. Most other storage boxes are plastic and break when they get cold, or end up tearing because they aren't strong enough. The fabric is so well done and this is really sturdy. I purchased two and now I will have three, which I really did need. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THESE FOR YOUR STORAGE. I have also bought other items to keep ribbons and paper in. These are Great! Finally my garage will look neat and tidy, with not ugly boxes to look at!

These are great! I have many old world Christmas glass ornaments which I normally individually wrap and put in a plastic tub. This process takes a ton of time and takes up so much room in my small basement storage unit. I ordered two and these have been amazing, I had all the ornaments off the tree in about 30 minutes. I removed some of the dividers to accommodate larger ornaments and still had room at the top of both boxes for ornaments that were not fragile (or I didn't care if they got broken) cut the amount of storage space and take down time in half!

It is fine for small and medium ornaments but the slots are too small for larger ones. I have a lot of glass ornaments going back to the 50's and are no longer available so for me storing them in a secure way is essential. I wish that they offered a larger size as well.

I just ordered a second Elf Stor ornament box. For the money this is a better box than expected. My wife has many antique ornaments handed down to her from Nana. Our precious ornaments have been stored in cardboard boxes until now. This is the last ornament storage box I will need, I think this box will be around long after I am gone.
