Style Name: Step II Deluxe
I have a small dog who is now 13 and is having some arthritic problems. Most days he has trouble jumping up on the bed and sofas. I pull a big hassock over to the bed for him but it's then in our way so I figured it might be time to get some pet steps. I didn't know how he would take to them so I didn't want to go with the expensive wooden ones. I looked at many steps, read many reviews and decided on this one. At first I put it up to the bed, which is very high, and with some coaxing he did use it to reach the bed. But, it is a little short for the bed at only 13 inches high, so I decided to put it next to the sofa. Going up is no problem, he took to it beautifully. Coming down is still a little scary for him so I turned it sidewaise to the sofa. This gives him more step room when coming down and gave him confidence. Again, he took to it beautifully and we are both happy campers!
PS- it shipped very quickly and was here within two days.

My dog does not like the way these slope down! I had read that in the reviews but purchased anyway because of the width of the stair. My dog is 5 lbs so I wanted something that she could sit on and look out the window. She kind of can on these but she keeps readjusting herself because the slope either makes her feel like she is slipping or makes her slip. The height and stair width is great, easy to put together, removable cover, lightweight but sturdy - the slope is the only negative (for my purpose).

This step was easy to assemble and my dogs and cats love it from the first time I put it next to the bed.....Running up and down it like pros! Highly recommend it over the the standard narrow 3 step versions. The rubber floor grips are awesome on the wood floors, no slipping or sliding!

The steps are light as promised and very easy to train our dog to use them. The stairs have a downward tilt and when the dog goes down them she feels a little unsure sometimes. She has to make sure she has her balance which negates the reason we bought them in the first place. I'd rate it higher if the stairs were level. Also, as she goes up and down the stairs they make a clunking noise which may not work if you are a light sleeper.

I just bought a new leather couch with fluffy cushions and I knew my little Chihuahua would never be able to get up there by himself. This was perfect. Not even with the cushions just about a 6 inch difference and it was no problem to him and he's small. After this purchase I bought one with more steps for my bed. Easy to assemble. This would be perfect for all small pets or aging pets. Great buy!

I bought this step for my 12 year old beagle. It took her about 3 days before she took to it. Now she steps up at night, but still jumps off in the morning. She will not go down. but that's ok. She is still healthy and strong. Every little thing helps.

The pro of these stairs (and why I purchased them) was that they are made of hard plastic under the cover so when my Maltese decides to use them like a tree, they can be washed - the last set of stairs was foam and the odor would just persist. However, the reason that I gave them 3 stars is because when the cover is on the stairs it slips around on the hard plastic and is very unstable for the dogs. My dogs are hesitant to use them. I put carpet tape on the stairs under the cover to try to make them less slippery and it did help, but still not great. I am considering adhering foam to the top of stair to make them more padded and easier to climb. Also, the risers are pretty high - the fact that they are slanted makes it a little better but adds to the slippery-ness.

These steps are amazing! I have a small Chihuahua/Yorkie mix and these are the first steps my dog isn't afraid of using. She's goes up and down them just fine. It's so easy to put together. The cover can be taken off to wash. I bought these for my bed and will definitely be buying a second one for our sofa. I totally recommend these stairs to everyone.
