These are life-savers--or at least finger and thumb savers. I had not done embroidery in years and decided to finish a project my grandmother started before she passed away. After just short periods of time sewing, my index finger and thumb became sore. I tried several other products before this one and found all of them difficult to use, due to not conforming to my fingers and/or being too stiff. These are very comfortable and still allow me to "feel" what I'm doing--while protecting my fingers and eliminating the pain.

These needle pullers are handy for getting a stubborn needle through your hand work. I have one by my stitching chair and one in my "to go" work bag. They are quite soft, and will fit a range of fingers. I have rather small hands, but they stay in place without any bother. They have enough leeway to work for larger fingers as well. They are one of those little things that make life easier. They would also make a nice stocking stuffer for stitching friends.

These would be great for quilting and needlepoint if they weren't so small. My hands are not especially large, but the Large size is too small for my thumb. I use it anyway, by not pulling it all the way on, and it helps.

I bought a Clover silicone thimble with a metal top. There is a hole on the backing and my middle finger had too much room for a medium, so I bought a small on line. I was hesitant about the size I ordered, but the large fits my thumb perfectly and the medium fits my pointer. I tried to fit my thumb in the medium, but I had to stretch it too far, no circulation, so I was happy I did not order the small/medium variation. Very nicely designed and comfortable.
