I have tried two other times to reattach a broken tab to my rear window defrost on a 2003 Taurus. The other fixes didn't last more than a few minutes. This stuff worked great. It mixes and applies easy. I even spread a length of it on a piece of wood when I finished attaching the tab. About 3 inches of this read 1 ohm, that's pretty good for being conductive. I will follow up and tell you how long it lasted. But so far, it has worked better than the other fixes. Feels pretty solid when attached as well...

I tried welding the tabs back into place on a 2003 Tahoe rear window desfroster with a special silver, conductive welding material, but it was too difficult or I was too sloppy to do it. then I tried this product, which is very easy to apply. I let it dry for 24 hours and now my defrost works again!

Tried one of the Name Branded ones and although I followed the detailed directions given on Amazon no luck. It stuck but did not conduct the electricity.
Followed the real simple directions for this product and on the first try it worked exactly as advertised.
I would recommend this product over the name brand as even though it was a few dollars more initially in the long run it would have been cheaper without the hassle of having to do it twice .

I read a lot of product review like Loctite and Permatex. No one had a good review for me to even try one of these. Read about Atom product and get in touch with them. They informed me to buy an adhesive, whatever the brand, made specifically for that use cause it may have a serious issue of rear window to shatter. I already pick one in their product and they told me not to use that one and they suggest the wright product for that repair.

Just did the repair. Try the defogger 30 hours after setting the tap with duct tape. Work great and waited for a complete cycle. No problem cause with a wrong product, the vehicle computer doesn't get the right parameter current/voltage and let the defogger on until it gets the real parameters values ans the window shatter by over heating. Will have to see with time and winter up here in Canada to get a full satisfaction review. But I trust the product and the way Atom guide me thru the adventure. Thank you Atom.

The same manufacturer has multiple products of the same adhesive glue - make sure to buy the one which says rear window defroster since this one has the lowest electrical resistance.

Applying was easy - comes with 2 chambers - apply enough pressure and the barrier between the 2 chambers bursts open and the 2 liquids mix with each other and you have to apply in the next 10-15 mins. Keep your defroster tab cleaned by now with a sandpaper and apply this glue to both the tab and the window defroster contact. Wait for a minute or two and stick them both together - make sure that they are aligned well and leave it for 48 hours.

Ideally - do this process on a evening after you come back home from office so that it dries very well from 6 PM till 7 AM without any vibrations. Then for another 1.5 days do not switch on the defroster.

Good product, but not enough instructions included, went to the product website (Atom adhesives) to retrieve more instructions. Customer needs to consider weather- humidity-temperature etc. as drying/curing time varies. I waited until weather was warmer and not raining but the humidity was high , even using tape and a heated shop the product took about 10--15 mins to harden enough that tab didn't move, I raised the rear door and put a work light on a stand to heat glass. Finding something to keep pressure on the tab (a pole wedged the right length) as it takes several minutes to cure. Tape did not keep enough pressure to keep it in place for me . Its been several months and no problems so far....

I have to say that the failure is no fault of the product, and I will be buying more in the summer to try again. I applied the product in the dead of winter (out of necessity), and it didn't cure, even after 2 weeks

This stuff works great. I tried all the available options to repair the broken off defroster tabs on my rear window to no avail, nothing was strong enough to keep it attached. There was still some clean metal left on the glass where the pad broke off, I cleaned it up with some sandpaper, did the same to the tab, and applied this stuff then let it cure for a day. It's so strong that I was able to bend the metal tab while making sure it wouldn't break off. It conducts great too.
