This is a review of the ProDeals 5.5W light. I was provided a sample for review.

This is a versatile light although probably not best used as a desk light since the bright edge of the LED strip may bother your eyes. The 27 LED's in the strip are dimmable by touching the base of the neck near the clamp. A quick touch turns the light on or off. If you touch and hold, the light will dim or become brighter.

The clamp opens to a maximum of 2".

The AC adapter is 100-240V, 50/60Hz and has a 6' cord on it.

You can use this in a variety of ways but the overall quality is average. I dislike that the end caps of the light bar come off so easily. Just doesn't seem right.

I bought this light and liked it so much I bought a second one. It works as advertised and the main feature I appreciate is the swivel-style clamp. For my purpose (I attach it to my bed for reading) this type of clamp is more stable than the spring-loaded clamps which, if they open wide enough to clamp onto the bed headboard, will move if you accidentally bump them.

I was looking for a desk lamp that could be mounted horizontally on a cubical partition to add some light to a work area. I did not realize how few options there were in the market. There were other options, but for significantly more money.

When it arrived, it was a little smaller than I had expected, and I was concerned that it would not be adequate. Once I had installed it on the partition wall and plugged it in, I found the little light cast a vibrant white light over the work area. It was more than capable of illuminating the entire 24" X 48" work surface.

The issue noted by a previous reviewer that if mounted on a desk, the light could shine too brightly in your eyes, was not a problem as the fixture was mounted well above eye level. I can see that is a valid point to consider if mounting vertically on a desk. The edge of the lamp does have a bright edge.

After a week or so we're very pleased with this lamp. Its the right size for the headboard, the light is clear, and the wide light source, supported in the center, gives a good reading light that doesn't bother the other side of the bed. The touch control for dimming is fine -- it takes a moment to start dimming, which protects against inadvertent touches. The ring that lights up to show that the light is in is simple and attractive.

What a great little lamp! I needed something to attach to my headboard so I could read or knit in bed, as my tableside lamps were not bright enough. My headboard is too thick for a clamp on light, but I was able to clamp this to the back of the headboard. The clamp is small enough to fit between the headboard and the wall. It is nice and bright, and perfect for my needs. There are no directions with the lamp, and I had to go back and read reviews to find out how to turn it off and on. Just touch base!

This can be used as a great craft light, vanity light for makeup or reading light. You just need somewhere to clip the base and that can even be the bedframe, fortunately, for very easy reading.

i also clamped it to my craft table when doing very fine detailed work and it made my old tired eyes work so much better!

I like the ability to rotate it however I liked. This made it really great for doing makeup since I could clip it on my desk where I do makeup and turn it right up to my eyelid for brow tweezing or at my face for other makeup, around however I wish--just made things easier to do and takes up no footprint at all on the desk.

Likely a great gift for a crafter (how creepy, a bat just hit my window as I was typing this and I had to go out and check on it. I know that has nothing to do with this but how often in life do you see that happen since they can detect objects without sight that should prevent crashing into anything?) But I digress... Crafters need more light (I think that bat did too) for fine detail work and this, even if you have nice overhead lighting, makes your work easier.

Great for a kid's homework desk as well!

And, because it's dimmable, you control the light you want when you want it. And that can add a little romance to the room too, should you so desire.

I was very happy I got to get this as a free sample to give my honest review on . It really is a neat little light . It is very bright , and the only time I use it that bright is when I have it facing up in the air , like a standing lamp . Clamp is easy to adjust to fit to any table or desk .

I must say , I was really fascinated that it has like a little touch screen . You don't have to click or turn any knob/switch , it's all just a simple touch and hold to operate this little desk lamp .

Doesn't take up much space at all , very little . Which that is a plus , because when you have a laptop , mouse , notepad , pencil holder , etc. on your desk , the last thing you need is to try and fit a big lamp on it .

Also it is very bendable . You can turn it , bend it , in whatever direction you please for your needs . You can dim the light to your needs as well .

Overall this is a great little desk lamp , easy to use , takes up very little space , and recommended .
