UPDATE: as of December 7th 2015 the blender has run its course. It began to leak or melt while blending my usual banana and shake, soft blend, never pushed the blender hard. I cannot recommend the product unless they fix it. I'll post pictures of what happened. It appears to be a poor design.

I originally received the blender and on my 3rd smoothie I guess I got a bit ambitious. I blended for about a minute and a half or 2 min and the blender started smoking a little. I stopped blending of course and took to their amazon store page asking if perhaps I had a bad unit or if I did something wrong. I hadn't checked back but a few days later received a new blender. Confused, I went and checked to see that they had responded to my inquiry and that you need to only blend in 30 second increments, mixing in between. I thought I read the manual thoroughly and don't remember that being in there and checking it now I don't see that recommendation, only that you should stop blending for at least 10 minutes if the motor stalls. So I'd highly recommend adding that to the manual for future versions of the product. That said I love the blender for the most part, the travel cups are super convenient, tops work well, its easy to clean and seems pretty durable. For the price its a solid buy.
The only cons I have is that the bottle is too tall to use a straw with, I wouldn't take a star off for that though because I could have probably looked up the bottle dimensions before hand, I'm a straw person so now I have to dirty a cup. The second thing is that the blades are not quite sharp or fast enough I guess, if I add spinach or sometimes even pineapple it can be a bit grisly with bigger pieces of spinach and such still unblended.
Customer service from them is superb, product is pretty great for the price, I'd gladly buy from them again and recommend them to anyone.
