Spent several hours installing this to print via network. It did not work as expected, and couldn't get it to work with my iPhone nor android phones. Had trouble getting it to work with Mac OS lion. Had to upgrade to Yosemite to get the Mac to recognize the printer. Got the wifi to work, but it would have to connect to the printers wifi broadcast, not the network wifi. It's worthless so I scrapped it and used it as a sub local printer and it worked fine.... That is totally unacceptable as I can't share this printer easily. When the ink ran out, which was very quickly, this printer uses a lot of ink. The replacement ink costs almost as much as the printer so I decided to try a different printer, hopefully with a better interface and easier connectivity with all my mobile devices and computers.
I bought an HP 7645 from Costco, and so far so good. Mac OS lion recognized it right away. My iPhone's connected to it easily. I can't speak to the amount of ink this new printer uses, but at least I can connect to my network and have all the devices able to find it and print wirelessly. That's how a modern printer is supposed to work!

I bought this thing for a little more than a hundred bucks and its outperforming my wife's MUCH more expensive HP Photosmart 7520. It connects effortlessly to my ASUS laptop, it prints a really good quality document, the scanner works great and its all around simple/easy to use. I can't say enough about this thing. If you want to save money AND get a great printer, buy this one.
