I went to Publix, I went to Wal-Mart, I went to Wynn-Dixie. All they had were the flat and square ones, which I hate! I even went to the Blue Diamond Toothpick website and asked them where I could get their toothpicks. I'm not exaggerating when I say their reply was that they don't know and that I should just keep driving around looking for them. I've bought only their toothpicks for 50 years. Never again. I ordered these from Amazon and have been quite pleased with the quality. They're on par with Blue Diamond and work just fine. When I get low on these (since I used 3 or 4 a day, these should last a few years), I'll go to their website and see if I can find them. Boycott Blue Diamond! Stick with these!

I need them to be somewhat strong, as I mainly use them in a special holder I got from my dentist for cleaning along the gum line every night. Many toothpics are weak and break or bend at the clamping section. These are pretty good, although some still don't pass this test.

One's tongue can only do so much, and the pain and unsightliness is a constant annoyance. These are the best wooden toothpicks I've ever bought or used. I haven't found them to be splintery and they stand up to being shoved through various fruits and veggies and do keep those rollups together. The kids enjoy having the toothpicks to eat off of without the bother of utensils. And with two boxes I probably have enough to last until they are all out of school!
