I'm so happy my daughter recommended these to me. I've been using this all the time. From the moment I wake up, to when I go to bed. The only times I take these off beside when I'm about to sleep is when I take a shower.

This is just fantastic! I wouldn't care if they suddenly stop working or get swallowed up by my dog or anything. I'd just buy another pair. They're just that cheap compared to hearing aids.

I only have a mild hearing loss and I wanted something I could use for certain occasions. This is my first experience with a hearing amplifier/aid. Overall, this one is not going to work for me, but I'm not too disappointed because what did I expect for something for so cheap?
Pros:
It was cheap
My kid is having a great time playing around with it (it doesn't whistle for him for some reason and he doesn't mind the noise)
I've learned to avoid analog hearing aids

Cons:
Tons of background noise
Can't talk and hear anything else at the same time
My normal voice sounds really loud with this thing in
It sounds like someone put a tinny radio in my ear. I hope all hearing aids don't sound like this!
Ear piercing whistle on occasion, made me afraid to put it in my ear
I really doubt this thing would be very effective for hunting, because every breath, grunt or any other noise you might make drowns out everything else. Maybe if you stood stock still, with no wind and breathed really quietly you might be able to hear something you normally couldn't hear.

I would have given this 1-2 stars except it really didn't cost much and my kid is enjoying it.

This is false advertising at it's finest. All this instrument does, is produce a large amount of white noise along with sounds that you're suppose to hear, but cannot over the cacophony of something that sounds like a wind storm. Returned for refund.

Squelch and white noise is all you hear on sittings above 1.5. Have not fired a firearm with them so don't know if the damping feature works or not.
As I do not wear hearing aids and hear fairly well, my main concern in the loud sound damping. I will write a separate evaluation after I test that out.

I bought this for my 90 year old dad and he has had several kinds of hearing aids for thousands of dollar. None of them worked for him. My son gave me the idea to get one of these for him to see if it would work and Praise God, it works wonderfully! I can have a normal conversation with him now and he can heaar me. He hasn't been able to do this in years. I recommend this to anyone with hearing problems.
