My son, 16, loves Axe and regularly uses the Essence fragrance. I was curious to see what he would think of this bright purple body/hair wash and how it compared! He loved it - said that it was similar to Essence and that he felt clean with it. As a parent note, he did NOT smell like a walking bottle of Axe. He smelled freshly showed with a fragrance, but it wasn't going to bowl anyone over! I say that because anyone who has ever raised a middle school/high school boy, knows that they grab Axe and let loose with it! So I have to admit, this was pleasant! By comparison, it is a bit stronger (but pleasant) fragrance. We are happy and now he only wants the Axe White Label Body Wash.
Oh and as a side note, he didn't care that it was purple.
