In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan.     I saw these shoes in store, but when I tried them on in my usual size 10, they were a bit tight, and the store didn't have a 10.5, so I decided to go on Amazon and see if they had them, which they did. My other asics are the gel noosa tri 9, and I have those in a 10, so I would recommend Going up a half size. These are pretty light weight but have lots of traction. They'll be great for my climbing and light hiking. Love the pink and black.

    I'm a size 9 and these fit tight. I regret buying these. Don't buy if you have a wide foot. Last pair of asics fit me perfect.
    Very disappointing this time around.... i haven't even had these sneakers for a month, and they already have a tare in them. I wish I could return them for the pair i rec'd last time around.
    How can Asics have a 60 return policy and pretty much you can't wear them at all in order to return them. REALLY???? so frusterated!
    This sneaker isn't a very good running sneaker either. After about 2 miles, balls of my feet start to hurt... Wish I could buy another pair... because I sure would! I bought the Gray Camo with pink.... not cool Asics!!! Not cool at all. :(

    This pair of ASICS Women's Gel Scram 2's are adorable! I was looking for something a little different for my daughter for back to school because she wanted a black or gray shoe. Well this pair is nice because it is a black/gray mix camo with bright pink.

    As for the shoe we have found in general that ASICS run a little small for us so I already knew what size to order. In most other brands my daughter wears a 9.5 but in ASICS we get a 10.5. This pair worked that way and that was good for us because they fit perfectly!

    They have a good arch support even for those of us that have flat feet I find that I can wear them and so can my daughter. She has tried them on and said they are very comfortable but we have not worn this particular pair all day yet as they are for back to school.

    I would buy these again. If you are a half size order up at least 1/2 size if not a full size.

    I suffer with plantar facitis and have a large heel spur. I've been suffering over a year now! Shoes after shoes with no relief until these. My feet no longer hurt while at work. Still painful to walk barefooted or wear other shoes but I am truly amazed how wonderful these feel. Like walking on pillows. Highly recommended to try if you suffer like I do and desperately need relief. At work I my cell phone clocked me at a average 7 miles a night 5 days a week 8 hour days on concrete floors.

    I do not use them for running, but the running shoes have a bit more support and are quite comfortable without an additional insert. I walk dogs on dirt and gravel trails and love the additional traction these soles give me. I am most happy with these.

    They're really cute and perfect for running errands around the neighborhood, or working out in the weight room or on an elliptical, but horrible for running or any distance (even walking). Very little cushion or support throughout the shoe; zero arch support. My feet usually ache after a few hours, even from just standing on an anti-fatigue mat at my standing office desk, which is odd since I generally love Asics and can wear them all day. Let's just say they're NO Gel-Kayano!

    I bought a half-size bigger than other pairs of asics I've owned and they fit really well. I have a very wide toe box and these are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn, so much so that this is the second time I've bought them. They are great for trail and pavement, I've trained for both a road half marathon and a frozen 12k trail run and they performed beautifully. The big treads also make them a great choice if training in the snow. No need to put insoles in them as they are nicely padded.

    The shoe might have stretched a bit to accommodate my bunions and hammertoes, and it is a very attractive shoe for its type. However, I had to send it back as I am an over pronater and I didn't notice the part of the description when I bought these that stated they were for those with a neutral gait. This is a big deal for me as I am recovering from surgery on one foot and will do the other in time.
