I became interested in orange oil after learning that it's a secret ingredient in an espresso drink at a wonderful local cafe. Searched the best brick and mortar markets around town and could only find orange water. Of course, Amazon has it! Product is absolutely intoxicating. You only need a drop or two to infuse your beverage with the scent and flavor of an orange grove. The rinds of 150 oranges are used to make a bottled ounces of orange oil. I'm going to buy several for holiday gifts for my fancy friends.

Someone gave me a bottle a couple of years ago and I'm finally re-ordering. I've used it in baking: buttercream frosting with a few drops added is amazing! It can be used in mixed drinks, to flavor tea (and evidently, expresso). You can add it to potpourri, especially those with cinnamon sticks and cloves. I even use it as an essential oil. Orange oil and all other citrus, are uplifting, joyful oils.

This is head and shoulders above any orange extract that I have ever tried. If you really like the flavor of orange - the true flavor, NOT some fakey orange flavoring, use this in your cooking and baking. I have used it in cookies, cakes and sweet potato souffle, but the best use is in ice cream. I make dark chocolate orange chocolate chip ice cream every summer. Ben & Jerry's eat your heart out!
