This thoughtfully engineered air purifier is powerful enough to clean most bedrooms (125 sq ft) and quiet enough for the nursery. The rounded design and integrated handhold on this roughly egg-shaped purifier are designed to remove sharp corners and edges from children's rooms. The fan is capable of three setting. The low setting is peaceful whisper while the high setting produces a significant whirring noise like a floor fan. Also like a floor fan, the high setting moves quite a bit of air and can help cool a room during the summer.
The controls are lockable to avoid accidental button presses. Additionally a sleep mode dims the lighting on the controls and turns the airflow volume to low when the lights are out. The nightlight is also convenient. It is just bright enough that I don't need to use the flashlight on my phone when I'm walking around.
Finally, the hidden cord is just brilliant. I really wish more products would think about how to store extra cord! There is a rubber lid on the bottom of the purifier that conceals the entire cord. I only need to unravel and expose a small amount of cord to plug the device in, and the rest of the cord stays neatly hidden.
The only part of this purifier that wasn't perfect was the latch release. The "unlock" button operates a mechanical peg that pushes the clasp down and releases the plastic cover protecting the filter. Unfortunately, the latch release for the filter cover is a bit sticky, and it does require a bit of force to pull the cover free. This is a very small consideration, and with small hands around I'm not sure that I would want it to be too easy to remove the cover.
Overall, I was pleased with the features and design for this air purifier.
