BUYER BEWARE: THIS PRODUCT IS HUGE! I even took into account the other buyers who said this item was very large. My daughter wears 18 month clothing and i ordered the size for 6-12 months (M) and it is still too large. I had to rubber band the extra fabric in the back just so she wouldnt trip over it (will include pictures). At least she can grow with the product though, which is the only reason I'm not too angry. Other than that the item seems to be made very well and is very thick and warm, great for cold winter nights to wear over jammies!

ITS HUGE! My 7 month old girl started pulling herself up and standing and taking steps around furniture/her crib so I had to ditch her original sleep sacks. I found this and the reviews said its big and I couldn't find a small so I just got the medium thinking it would still be okay. The medium says for 16 pounds and up (she is 17lbs)......WRONG. I like the sack but it is so huge she can't even use it. I swear she won't be able to use it till she's at least 11/12 months or more. If I hold it level to the ground it comes up to almost my hip bones. I am 5'3 to give you some sort of reference.

We have used HALO sleepsacks since my daughter was a newborn (she's now 2). When we switched her to her new room (still in a crib), we stopped using the sacks hoping she would sleep well without them. She did - for quite a while. Then she regressed and I finally broke down and bought a few of the Early Walkers. The cotton one was too thin, but the fleece ones are perfect. She must need the weight of the fleece to feel like she's actually wearing something. It did help and she's been sleeping a lot better.
She's almost 2, but is quite petite for her age. I bought a Large and yes, it is big on her, but I believe it fits the way it's supposed to. She has short legs, so the "crotch" area hits the ground when she's standing up in it. This isn't an issue for us because she only wears it when she's in her crib. We don't have to worry about her actually walking around in it, other than in that small space. It actually works out because when we put it on her, she can't run around and leave her room when she doesn't want to go to bed! Even though it is too long for her little legs, the cuffs keep her feet from disappearing into the sack.
After probably 12 sleepsacks total (including the swaddles), we have only had 1 that has had a zipper issue.

I've been buying Halo SleepSacks in incremental sizes for my daughter since she was born. The swaddles kept her wrapped tightly and the sacks kept her warm all night once she outgrew swaddling. I strayed once and bought an Aiden & Anais sack and the zipper broke within a few weeks of use. I learned my lesson. All of the Halo products I've purchased are very well constructed. The zippers never fail and the fabric has withstood lots of washing in high temperatures and bleach. I'm never worried about her being cold during our Wisconsin winter nights in the fleece, and the lightweight sacks keep her warm (but not too warm) in the summer.

When my daughter started walking, it was time to graduate to the Early Walker. Some people complained that the sacks are too big, but I think they're missing the point. It's supposed to be a wearable blanket like the sack, but with the option of the feet to stay in the sack or come out for walking.

My one complaint is that I wish the patterns and styles of the SleepSacks were more fashionable. Halo - please consider hiring some more fashion-forward clothing designers, please! While I have a daughter, I don't like dressing her in Peptol-Bismol pink and '90s looking flower appliqués. There are other sleep sacks on the market in much chicer styles, but I refuse to buy them because I don't trust their quality.

i had already same sleepsack size Large (for 12-18 months old) . i bought Medium size today,they say Medium size for 6 to12months... i dont think so, it like a for 2 years old.
i conpare Medium size and Large size, looks same~!!! they doesnt different size .... i will do return this Medium size sleepsack.. hope they made more small .

Great idea but runs super long/huge! I got this for a 17#, 8month old baby and my 5 year old child could actually fit it. I still think it's pretty genius it just needs some safety pins to take up the extra foot of material for when she crawls. I would say the size Medium weight and height range is just really off but it will work just fine and she has lots of growing room (like 2 years worth)
