In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan.     These shoes are great for dancing and cross training. I take zumba classes as well as lift weights and do circuit training about 6-7 day a week and I do not need any other shoe except for these. They are great for pivot turns and traction when you need it. On warning is that they run a tiny bit large so if your in between, go down.

    I usually love the Asics brand, but their sizing is all over the place. I have a pair of Asics in size 7.5 that are perfect, but these are totally different. I tried both a size 7.5 and a size 8 in this style, and both were too short. My toe was at the very end of the shoe with absolutely mo extra room. They also were too narrow, and not very comfortable. Very little cushioning, felt really hard.

    They showed up in a very timely manner.

    I absolutely love these shoes. They have good support and breath well. However, you need to be careful if it's raining out otherwise your feet will get totally soaked.

    A lot of reviews say that these shoes run small, and if you have average to wide feet, than these shoes may be a bit small for you. However, if you have narrow feet like I do, than they will fit you great!

    I bought these shoes for Zumba (I'm an instructor, and a student) and realized immediately that they aren't a good shoe for that. They are zero profile with no support. I thought I'd used them instead as a cute, around town walking shoe -- no dice there, either. My lower back was killing me after just a few hours. Now they sit in my closet as a mildly-expensive decoration.

    This shoe runs a little narrow and no arch support. It has no arch support at all so I put my own in which made the shoe even tighter. On the plus side, it is very light and I use it for Zumba... no problem. My last pair was a RYKA and tried these because it was recommended by someone in my Zumba class. I will go back to RYKA next time for comfort.

    Worst dance sneaker ever!! I had found that Asics made very good dance/Zumba sneakers. I'm an instructor and teach several classes a week. These sneakers are a major departure from the quality, support and dependability that I'm used to seeing in Asics' products!! These sneakers are flimsy. They have little to no cushion, the sizing is all over the place, no toe guard and barely any tread!! The first time I put these "things" on I almost busted my butt on the floor, because there was absolutely no traction. After trying to teach with them for about two songs, or 10 minutes, I had someone run to my car and grab my back up dance sneakers. They are simply awful!! Yes, dance sneakers are to have less tread and are made for lateral movement, but these are poorest quality shoes I've ever tried, with the exception of Fila dance sneakers. I couldn't return them and they don't seem to sell their older models (blue/grey or pink/blk) any longer. Horrible shoes!! Don't waste your money or risk injury!

    Nice dance shoes, less clunk to haul around with dance moves. No support though, sacrificed for the streamlining. I really like them, but don't love them, as they're sort of long and not terribly attractive. But they do the trick! Time to Cize it up, again!
