    Merrell makes great shoes for adults and kids. These are easy for my son to get on and they stay on his feet. He had been complaining about his other pair of shoes and he has made no negative remarks about these. Already bought the next size up for when he grows out of these. Boys only wear one of two pairs of shoes in a given week, so having good quality pairs is so essential.

    I'm really surprised that other reviewers haven't mentioned issues with these shoes running small. Maybe this is typical for Merrell's, as this was our son's first pair. He had been wearing Stride Rite, but has now grown out of their sizes. He's still wearing his size 3W in Stride Rite, but they're starting to get small on him, so we ordered a 4W in these shoes. The 4W was even smaller on him than his 3W Stride Rite. In comparison, we bought him a pair of size 4 Sketchers (they no longer sell wide in kids) and they fit him fine with room to grow. I'm not sure how the Merrell sizing can be so far off other major brands. I'm wondering if maybe even the boys colors (we bought the brown and orange) are really girls shoes and girls sizing? Other reviewers mentioned getting these for their sons, but something seems off. We chose to return rather than exchange for a larger size since the price jumped by over $20 in the short time since our purchase.

    My girl loves the shoe and it is the go to shoe for her going to school. However after only a month of light use the stitching on the side is coming off and where the elastic expansion area is along the side is coming apart. Very poor quality of sewing but good materials - I recommend that they find a new manufacturer.

    These are really nice, just make sure you get some water proofing spray to protect them, they are real suede and smell sooo nice! I would suggest you might want to go a full size up just in case because I went a half size up and they were just about perfect. You will love them!

    I am an adult with children's size feet, I bought these to walk my dogs when I am up on the Mountains. They arrived fast and the colors are very nice and they fit exactly like they should. The shoe is nice and light and was easy to slip into. I did however say the shoes didn't provide good arch support, but what children's shoe does? I slip in my own and so that wasn't a deal breaker for me.

    Merrell's are my go-to shoes. I purchase 1-2 pairs a year, and literally wear them every.single. day. I discovered them years ago and although I have tried other brands, I just keep coming back to Merrell's...especially the Jungle Moc.

    Since I really do wear them every day they do get broken in and need replacing from time to time. Lucky for me (or is it?!) I have very rectangular Flintstone feet, and am able to fit them into a larger boy's size 7 and save a bit of money. I picked these gray jungle mocs up for a song and was super excited about them...until they arrived. The fit was the usual perfection...but the color - dark gray - was simply not dark enough. It was more like a medium gray to me. They are a bit lighter I think than the photos show.

    So even though I love my Merrell's, I did return this pair. Not for fit, sizing or construction, but simply because I thought that color was off. It could have been my rose-colored glasses that threw me off, but I think I may just stick to black and browns from now on.

    I bought a size 13 for my 5 year old grandson. He takes between a 12 and a 12.5. They fit well with a little room to grow and they are easy to slip on and off. I think with the slip on sneaker versus the lace up style, you can get away with getting them a little bigger in size. He says that they are very comfortable. As for wear and tear, we will find that out, but I have bought this brand before and have been happy.
