    I know this is a "sporty" type vest that people wear to go running/hiking etc. I'm not opposed to those activities, buuuuuut I just don't do them. However, I love this vest. It's so simply stylish, I especially love the high collar and matte finish (I got the black, it's not super black...it could pass for very dark gray, but it depends what you pair it with...it's versatile). It's not "puffy", which gives the layered look without the bulk, but it definitely saves me from wearing a jacket while running errands in 40 degree weather. It bothers me to wear a jacket in the car.

    Just bought another in gray.

    I am usually an adult small in tops, I am 5'4", 140 lbs, and a 32 DD. I bought this in extra small because I figured it would be a looser fit because it's sporty--I was right. Though It it just a teeny bit too tight around my chest when I zip it up, but it fits me perfectly everywhere else. Had I gotten the small it would have been too big for my frame. Plus, if I did decide to go running I'd put on a sports bra and I assume it would then fit perfectly.

    I love this vest! It fits perfectly. I got it to wear underneath layers or to wear as a light layer on warmer cool days. I ordered a small. I'm 5'5 130 lbs and it fits perfectly. I read on other reviews that the black color is more charcoal. I ordered black because I wanted that charcoal look and it was right. The zipper is link a bronze color. Columbia makes quality stuff.

    I was not familiar with Columbia sizes, but I read some other reviews to decide on which size to get, and I'm glad I did! I am a 5'4'' (165 cm) and 112 lb (51 kg) woman with a small chest and large hips, and I ended up getting the X-Small, which is still somewhat too large for my frame, but it's perfect to wear with something bulkier underneath. In fact, I liked it so much that I got another color (the Deep Wave, which is absolutely gorgeous!).

    This is a wonderful vest for running! Perfect last layer and the high neck is great for winter running. A little larger than I expected for day to day wear but perfect for layering over my running gear. The longer back is great for covering my backside while running. I typically wear an 8 and purchase a medium and it has a little extra room for me.

    I am bust 90 and bought size M. I am happy I didn't bought size S as vest looks great on me and I can wear a sweater under it.
    So I will go to mountain and try it. I like very much very soft downline - a kind of fleece. I really think this vest is worth each penny. I bought it for 17 usd and very happy.
