Awesome elite racing model

The Carrera was Saucony's answer to the Nike Victory XC. This is an elite, lightweight, fast model, meant for aggressive cross country racing. Racing shoes, aka spikes, should essentially be used for races only. If you want Saucony's best effort at a fast racer have no further to look. There's a reason they sell more XC spikes than any other brand. In terms of fit, this shoe would be great for someone with a lower or flat arch as it is a little more narrow through the arch and toes. As an aside, spikes aren't typically comfortable, they're meant to be snug and make you feel fast. This shoe does that and exceeds expectations. Its also aggressive enough, you could easily get away with wearing this for track season as well.

Not doing research on what you're buying online without knowing what you're getting shouldn't be cause to rate a product poorly. Ignorance is an awful reason to judge something so harsh.

Awesome spikes for XC.

My son loved these spikes this XC season. He dropped time and wore them at every race! Great shoes! The only issue we have is finding a sturdy tool to get the spikes out. The tool that comes with them strip easy.

Got these for my son who is in Cross Country. He shaved approximately one minute off his time. Doesn't sound like much but in track sports it's a lot. They're great for rough terrain but not so great on concrete. But you can take out the spikes and use them on the harder surfaces. Great all around shoe for competitions. My son lives by them now.

#1 XC shoe.

Race Spikes
