This strap works well with this group of light weight banjos. Any open back or no tone ring banjo works well with it. It's plastic hardware will not scratch these banjo. I also have a heavy banjo. It has a fantastic sound but is difficult to use for a practice one. That banjo needs a heavy duty strap. I like this strap on my Jameson banjo.

I gave the Jameson banjo strap two stars just because it would do temporarily until I can get a better strap. This strap seems comfortable enough and it does not slip. The cheap fake leather ends gape open whenever there is any weight placed on the strap and it just looks like cheap stuff. If it was not for those cheap fake leather ends then I would say it was a good strap but this is just a cheap strap that I hope to replace with a better strap that at least has real leather ends.

For me this strap was not comfortable, and the clips were clumsy and noisy against the banjo - seems like it would wear and scratch the banjo. I returned the strap to look for a more comfortable fit.
