This UV device works very well, maybe too well. The price was very reasonable.
I bought it to detect scorpions that might get into the house, but surprisingly the one scorpion I did find showed very little fluorescence.It does get a little warm (nothing alarming but noticeable though) around the very front LED portion after a few minutes of use. Batteries are not included (three AAA).
Quite distressing to walk through one's house and see all the unknown little bits and pieces of ??? on kitchen floors, carpets, and even walls that light up.
Buyers who are clean freak types should prepare themselves for a bit of distress if they buy and use this device.

I bought the flashlight in order to test out if items would indeed glow under our home haunt's black lights or not. This flash light has worked great for saving me the frustration of purchasing and returning items because they didn't glow like I thought they would.

I don't know about using the flashlight for finding bed bugs because that just isn't the reason I bought it for. I did however find a spot on our carpet that I seemed to have missed when we were potty training our new dog. So I know it works for finding potty accidents around the house.

This 21 led uv ultra blacklight is great to have as there is alot of fake stuff out there as well it can detect different types of bugs. It needs 3 aaa batteries that are not included, which don't bother me because I always have batteries on hand.

It is constructed of aluminum and with knurled grip. "O" rings for water resistance (don't soak)

Here are some of the things this little handy dandy gadget can do:
1. Scorpion fishing lights.
2. Check the metal cracks , glass or crafts hidden repairs.
3. Safety testing , hydraulic leak.
4. Industrial metal minerals detection.
5. Crystal, amber, jewelry appraisal.
6. Chemical detection, detection of the fluorescence agent. Even pet urine on carpets
7. Microorganisms, fungi detection.
8. Currency , notes , documents , high-grade tobacco, anti-counterfeit trademark detection.
9. Test the cottage phone , formal invoice tickets, social security card , high-end cosmetics, furniture, wood and other security.
10. Bed bugs, and other critters.

The Led light is nice and bright to make sure you dont over look anything. This is a great gadget to have, and is easy to store away.

I love this Flashlight! I wish I had this when my dogs were puppies! They are 4 years old and 1 year old now. And, being the spoiled rotten babies that they are, sometimes decide to go somewhere in the house outside of their designated wee wee pads potty station. The other day, I could "smell" something in my daughters room but I couldn't find a stain or anything. Sometimes, their urine can be clear. Well...when the lights went out....the flashlight went on. And I found the little corner that they were using! Thanks to this little Ultra Violet Blacklight flashlight, I was able to pinpoint the exact area problem and focus my cleaning effort on that particular spot. I have bought these little black lights before, that are the size of key chains, but they hardly emit any light and you had to point directly on the ground to sort of see something. This one, you can be feet away and it's nice and bright. This little Flashlight has been a HUGE help to me. And for anyone that have hard headed dogs like me, I strongly recommend this blacklight flashlight!
