I got a bag of this stuff for Christmas. I was curious to see if it tasted as good as the coffee you get at McDonald's.
I'm telling you, thus stuff is GOOOOOOD.

I like good coffee. I've had all the common brands and roasts of coffee: Starburst, Gevalia, Folgers, Maxwell House, etc. McCafe has them beat in my book.

The BEST cup I ever had. I am not kidding.

Flavor Name: Colombian Medium-Dark Roast

Amazon may not like me for posting this review but you can buy this at most supermarkets now for half the price. Getting that out of the way, I will dedicate this review to the quality, packaging and especially taste of this amazing coffee. This variety in particular, the Colombian, is probably not the ones you find at your local McDonalds. The Red package (Regular Premium Roast) is what you will find brewing at your local McDonalds, which, in my opinion is okay but not fantastic. This purple package is an absolute GEM! I am not really into darker roasts, but this one presents extremely well. I will never buy another brand. Words cannot describe how smooth and balanced it is. No nasty aftertaste, no bitterness. Maybe it's the combination of using a tough of light agave sugar and a non-dairy hazelnut creamer (try it!)) Kudos Mickey D this one is replacing all the coffee varieties I have had so far.

99 at the grocery store tastes JUST like the mcdonalds coffee I love

This coffee which, in jacksonville fl, can be bought for $6.99 at the grocery store tastes JUST like the mcdonalds coffee I love! They even make a Colombian, decaf, breakfast blend, french roast, hazelnut and vanilla! But this medium roast is perfect for me! In comparison to folgers, maxwell house, chock full o' nuts, eight o' clock, gevalia, Starbucks, dunkin doughnuts, (those are just the ones I remember)... This one is BETTER! The only other coffee I've like as much or better is Hawaiian gold "kona blend" coffee, which is also at the $6.99 price point. Hope this gives a good comparison for other people.

Great Coffee

Very happy that I ordered this for my husband and myself. If ever you want a good cup of coffee head over to McDonald's it really is delicious. Now to be able to brew it at home is great for those days when we just don't want to go out or we're running late. The seller got it here in two days and I am very happy all around. I will be ordering from them again soon.

I was really surprised by this. I am not a fan of McDonald's coffee. I think they use too few grounds. On a whim, I tried this. I followed the traditional instructions of 1 tablespoon per 6 ounces of water. So for a 4 cup coffeemaker, I used 4 tablespoons of coffee.

Well, I found it very tasty, rich, not bitter, and full flavored. It also had a great aroma as soon as you opened the bag.

I usually buy whole beans and grind fresh. This was really surprising how good this was. It's worth a try.

Nothing Special

Flavor Name: Breakfast Blend Light Roast Verified Purchase

It smells heavenly, but the taste is average. There is that slightly acidic after-taste. I usually use whole-bean organic, and I can really taste the difference, especially because I drink coffee black, so there is nothing to mask the taste. This coffee is not expensive, so that is also, of course, a consideration.

Artificial Aroma and Taste Make This French Vanilla Flavored Coffee Undesirable ...

Flavor Name: French Vanilla Light Roast Verified Purchase

I love French Vanilla coffee, but my favorite online provider has shown their coffee backordered for over a year. Searching for a readily available alternative, I was pleased to find “McCafe French Vanilla Ground Coffee, Light Roast”. The fast food restaurant offering this product is known for its excellent regular coffee. Because I am not a hard-core coffee drinker, I do not care for darker roasts. The light roast was perfect since the brewed coffee would be robust, but not have bitter notes.

Although it is made of 100% Arabica beans, artificially flavored “McCafe French Vanilla Ground Coffee, Light Roast” smells and tastes exactly as described – artificial. During brewing, the aroma is odd and has a slight chemical tone. Drinking the coffee results in an unpleasant aftertaste; that was very disappointing. Adding sweetener and creamer did nothing to improve the taste. I will not be purchasing or recommending this flavored coffee.

Very delicious french roast

I prefer darker roast coffee, I drink mostly french roasts, and these beans did not disappoint. I used them in my drip coffee maker, and it tasted better than I expected. I believe these beans are every bit as good as some pricier, trendier brand names.

Tastes like liquid gold

It's amazing, just like drinking gold. At $12 a bag you should buy 100 bags now as just a few weeks ago it was priced at $4. Get it while you can before it reaches $100 per bag!
