I have only used this a half dozen times so far, but I like it. It's not heavy, but appears to be well made. It has straight sides, and measures 2 and 3/4 inches tall (not including lid) and 6 and 1/4 inches across the top. The handle is a comfortable 6 and 1/2 (almost) inches long. The pan is well balanced. At this price, I may buy another one.

This item turned out to be a good product. It heats well and the cover glass make it easy to see if the food is getting heated and or is boling fast. I use this to make a yield of soup or to boil veggies, and even to cook steamed rice. I would recommend this to item to anyone who wants to avail of a reliable kitchen pots and pan. I have been using this product now for about a week and it is very handy.

Also, for the record, I received my first order with a factory defect. The cover's lid was distorted and won't fit right in the pan. So I contacted the manufacturer immediately and they kindly reply the next day. Later, about a week into my receiving an email from them, they sent me a replacement order which was really nice of them to do. They did not even ask for me to ship the original order they sent me.

    I have been searching for a good sauce pan that is a heavy-duty and also allows for quick and even heating.I cook on a gas stove top and even heating is a must because gas cooks quick. I love the way this pot is non stick. You can cook healthier by using less oil. The inside of the pot has a very smooth non stick surface that allows for  easy food release and is so easy for cleaning. I ordered because I needed a pot to make Hollandaise sauce and white sauce in.This sauce pan the perfect one. It's non-stick coating allows me to make beautiful creamy sauces and without loosing a drop. This sauce pan is scratch resistant and easy to clean. I  love this pot and can't say enough good things about it. This pot is the perfect fit for my cooking needs. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my thoughts.

I rec'd mine today, the lid has a steamer hole which I didn't want. In the question/answer section someone asked "if the lid had a hole", Maxware responded that it didn't, thats false. The ad was misleading and not informative since it showed a pic of the lid with and without the steam hole. Patrons should be given a choice in it's description, order with or without lid hole/steamer hole. Guess I'll be putting a piece of foil in the lid hole when I use the lid. SMH

I own mostly Calphalon cookware and am pleased with it. However, Calphalon is not to be immersed in cold water when it is hot. To make hard-boiled eggs, I needed to do this to stop the cooking of the eggs. Therefore, I decided to purchase this smaller, less expensive pot that comes with a lid as well. It did the trick, and now I use it for a multitude of cooking chores. Cleans up in a jiffy. Good purchase.

This is a well made little pan. I wanted one to make my oatmeal as my previous pan had lost its non stick and I was fed up with scraping out oatmeal every morning. This one does the trick, clean up was a breeze. I can see me using it for other things too as it is a little bit larger than my original pan. There is a glass lid too, I don't think that I really need that but it might come in handy one day. The pan and lid seem to be very well made, I am happy with my purchase.
