Thin, sturdy and efficient.

Protective case with a power bank in a sturdy, sleek and elegant design. The 2400mAh rechargeable lithium battery can recharge the iPhone 6 100% more on a full charge; extending the use of the phone for up to 2 days (depending on use) before running out of power. The unit takes about 4+ hours to fully charge.
The protective hard plastic shell has a non-slip smooth surface and a locking bumper component, which secures the iPhone 6 in its protective shell. All cutouts for ports and buttons line up perfectly with the phone, are easily accessible and function smoothly. The cutout for the "silent" switch is tight and may be difficult to access for some users. The case is ultra thin (12.9mm) and very light, which does NOT add any significant bulk to the phone.
Four bright easily visible LED lights indicate the charge in the power bank; red when charging and less than 30%, blue at 30% - 70% and green when fully charged - these are controlled by pressing the power button on the front.
A pigtail extender/adapter is included to facilitate connection to earphones port. A USB/microUSB cord, a screen protector, microfiber cleaning cloth and manual are provided.
Has sync-through ability via its USB; allowing syncing with computer without having to remove the case. It is compatible with iOS8.

Minor CONS: Uses microUSB instead of standard Apple lightning cable, thus limiting use of some iPhone peripherals/accessories, which may cause incompatibility problems with future phone upgrades.
Audio port partially encumbered by the case. Needs adapter (provided).
Case is difficult to put on or remove (read enclosed instructions first).

These minor quibbles are not enough for me to downgrade this otherwise very good battery case.Read more ›

Thin and Efficient Battery Case

This UNU iPhone 6 battery case is really thin compared to other battery cases on the market. This is by no means a con. It feels good in my pocket, feels just right in my hands, and does not have the bulky feel to it. The case provides adequate protection if the phone was dropped. I like that the power is used to turn on the external battery to charge the phone, so you have control of when you want to use the external battery or not.

This case comes with a lot of extra accessories: 3.5mm jack extension for your headphones, a screen protector, and a micro USB cable to charge the case with.

The only con I can think of for this case is that the charging port is a micro USB port and not the Apple Lightning Port.

Overall, this case is rated 5 stars to me.

Modest Profile, Good Grip

Let me begin by saying that I find the extra weight and bulk of ALL battery cases a bit cumbersome, but they do come in handy. Since I have cables at work, home, and vehicle, I'm rarely down to 'Oh @h!t ' battery levels. However, there are times and places that extra juice really makes a difference (emergency rooms, theme parks, layovers, outdoor events, etc).

Any battery case will add weight and depth to your device. I've tested a handful of battery cases; some good, some okay, and some surprisingly light. This case, rubberized black, has a good grip with quick button sensitivity and open ports.

Where this case has a thin profile, it adds some height to your iPhone6. Your phone has an 1810mAh battery and this case, when fully charged, will add approximately 2400mAh. So, basically if your phone is dead you can charge it back to 100% capacity. I don't trust any cases to charge to their stated max capacity.

Your headphone jack will be recessed once inside the case and UNU provides the headphone extension adapter as well as the microUSB cable to charge. The brief video shows how easy it is to install. UNU also includes a screen shield (film) with this package.

Love the sturdiness of this iphone case

I absolutely love the look and feel of this iphone case. its light yet very sturdy! the color is nice and fits the iphone perfectly! I would recommend it to anyone looking to pretect their iphone and still have your phone look stylish while being protected and doesn't get in the way of the camera lens

The PIVOTAL Purchasing Consideration: Getting a Battery Case with the Common "Lock-Top" or This with Full Body Case Locking

Aside the pass-through Synch ability with a micro USB cord, this case really doesn't offer anything different from cheaper or more expensive battery cases currently out... except... yes.. a completely different and 1,000x more secure case design than the common and inherently vulnerable to popping off (or just plain loss) "lock-tops".

The vast majority of battery cases, dating back to the first ones up to the most current (and expensive) ones all have "lock-tops", where there are two simple push-in latches, you tug at the top, and off it comes. The trade off in ease of removal is, well, they also have a tendency to finally get worn to the point that they start getting loose or just not being that secure right out of the box. One drop, and off it goes.

So if you are just tired of this common design and want a case that will not pop open if you drop it, the UNU has it. Yes, it is quite more difficult to get off than a lock-top, and that is the trade off. If you are constantly wanting to take your phone in and out of the case, I'd have to recommend a lock-top. Yet with the Synch pass-through this UNU offers, that won't be a reason to take the phone out (plus, micro USBs are generally cheaper and more common than Lightning cables).

And thus what I see as your pivotal purchasing consideration - lock-top ease (and ease of popping off on its own), or this full body double-locking case.
