After my test results, I rate this case two stars. It meets all the specifications listed by Seidio, except for the picture test when using the flash on my iPhone 6 Plus. I received a second case, and I experienced the same problem with the flash; so, this feature does not meet the specifications as stated by Seidio.

During my drop-tests, the case remained in tact, but it did split apart, but it still protected my iPhone 6 Plus. I snapped it back together.

*****19-January-2015: Seidio Customer service gets 5-stars. Each time I contact them, via email, I get a reply within 24 hours with a solution. When I call them, they are courteous and helpful. Today, I contacted them because of the bluish purple haze I get when I use the flash on my camera -- Seidio couldn't replicate the problem; hence, they told me to clean the lens on the case and iPhone 6 Plus; and, if that option doesn't work, return it for a replacement or refund.

On a personal note: I liked this case a lot. The build quality of the screen protector, materials, and overall design are good, and it appears that Seidio really put a lot of design and quality effort into this case. If they can address the splitting open of the case at its designated drop heights and fix the blue haze issue from using the flash in the case, I would have given the case a 5-star rating.Read more ›

The case isn't a bad case. It just doesn't do a great job when using the camera.

As another posted via review I also have the issue where the case really impacts the camera on my iPhone 6Plus. I will not recommend this case to anybody now that I have actually used the camera.

If amazon will allow, I will post the before/after picture.

This isn't a "just got this case, and it is awesome" type review. I have had this case almost two months, and as much as I like Lifeproof products, I am not getting one for my iPhone 6 Plus.

Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of Lifeproof cases. Everyone in my house has a Lifeproof case on their Iphones, and on their Ipads. While I don't like the detachable headphone covers on Lifeproof products, Lifeproof otherwise makes a great product. I work out at a gym, and take my phone to the hot tub to relax afterwards. Waterproofing to me is critical. I needed something for my iPhone 6 Plus, and had to make due with non-waterproof cases until something decent came out. When I saw this on line one day, I decided to take a chance as Lifeproof still (after 4 months) hadn't announced a release date. I wasn't expecting much, and certainly wasn't expecting it to be waterproof like the Lifeproof. I was pleasantly surprised after filling the case with tissue paper, sealing, and putting it under water in my sink with something to hold it down that after 10 minutes, the inside was still dry. It was truly waterproof. AWESOME!

I also like that the charging port is sealed with a built in rubber gasket type seal rather than a plastic clip door that seems to break too often, and the headphone jack uses the same rubber gasket type thing rather than a removable screw in cover. So much easier to deal with than the way Lifeproof does it.

You do have to use a headphone adapter (which is included) to use anything but Apple headphones, and even these are easier to use than Lifeproof. These insert and twist about a 1/4 to 1/2 a turn, and you have a waterproof seal.Read more ›

Great case so far. Couldn't wait for lifeproof case. Waterproof tested good. Easy to install. Only Apple lightning charges will work. The port is too small for other chargers. Sound is good and I have not noticed any issues with pictures. If you are like me and are sick of waiting for lifeproof, then this is the case for you.

This is my 5th Obex case. I have never had an issue with any of the previous cases and voice quality has been spectacular. I really like the look and feel of the case and for the first 6 months it worked flawlessly. After six months most people on the other end of calls said it sounded like I was talking from within a 50 gallon drum. When I take the phone out of the case everyone can hear the conversation perfectly. I have no issue hearing the conversation while in the case.

I called Seidio and the first person I talked with said that it sounded like a defect and sent an email stating I would receive instructions by email for RMA. After waiting two weeks with no further contact I decided to call the company. The person who answered was very courteous and said that I would need to talk with tech support. After a short wait, the person in tech support came on line and said that they would need to troubleshoot the problem. Unfortunately, at this time my wife had the phone and case. I was a little miffed at this point, but understood the need to have the case for troubleshooting. Had this been addressed during the first call, I would not have had any issue.

After getting my wife to stay in one place long enough to call in again, I was able to contact Seidio again. Initially the person on the phone could not understand my conversation but finally understood that I needed to talk with Tech support. Once in Tech support, again not much of a wait, the person on the other end said he could hear me loud and clear. No issues.

I called four or five other folks who all say that my conversation sounds like I am in a tunnel and garbled. Once I take the phone out of the case and call the same folks back, they say it sounds like I am in the room with them.Read more ›
