This is my new favorite cereal!

The crunchy flakes, cinnamon and pecans are a winning combination. A bowl of these in the morning really do fill me up and keep me going throughout the morning.

I really like ordering them through Amazon Pantry. They are much less expensive than I've seen in the grocery store. Best part, they are delivered to my front door!

What a disappointment! When I purchase a cereal that purports to be "Cinnamon Pecan," I sort of expect to find at least a few pieces of pecan in the mix.

I opened the package and saw .... nothing except flakes. Hmmm ... maybe they're buried in the middle or something. I emptied the entire package into a large bowl and found ** 2 ** bits of something that looked vaguely like small pieces of pecan, about the size of a #2 pencil lead. That's all. Nothing even remotely resembling the picture on the box, the picture showing nice pecan halves poking out of the bed of cinnamon flakes. Nope -- just two tiny bits that I think (hope?) were pecan.

Don't get me wrong -- the cinnamon flakes are tasty, which is why I'm giving this 3 stars. But if that's really all this is, it's really nothing special.

Unless ...

Maybe I just got a "bad" package, one that was filled near the end of a batch or something. I have another box of this, unopened, so if I find the mix of flakes vs pecans to be radically different, I'll update this review accordingly.

As of this writing​, however, I won't be reordering this. I'll stick to my Special K Red Berries instead.

I purchased this cereal for my hubby and he LOVES it! I'm not really a cereal eater but I can tell you it smells divine of cinnamon and pecan. My husband loves cereal, but we hate for him to have all that sugar. Here is a cereal that only has 7g of sugars in one serving. That's almost half of most "healthy" advertised cereals. It has 150 calories, including the 1/2 cup of skim milk. If you don't use skim milk, the fat and calories will be more. We eat it with 1% milk.

The flakes are crispy and big. The clusters are really tasty and the whole cereal tastes like cinnamon toast. The pecans are a nice addition, but there's not enough. So we always put extra pecan pieces in the cereal to make it even better. But it really is a great tasting cereal that both my husband and I enjoy. We bought this awhile back and we've gone through a couple more boxes since then. It's delicious.

So tasty! At first I was a little sad that I didn't see many pecans but I thought at least the flakes were really tasty and cinammonny. But then once you get past the top you actually do get a nice amount of those pecans.

Even though it's not one of the healthiest cereals, I do feel it's alot better then all the common kiddy cereals. Plus a more.grown up taste. Sometimes you need grown up cereal!

To give you an idea of how much I love this cereal, you should know that I currently have 5 boxes of it in the pantry. I am really on a kick with this. I eat it every morning. It is a filling breakfast and fits into my calorie goal. I eat 2 cups paired with 2 cups of almond milk for around 400 calories. The taste is great. I add a little Splenda, but that's just my preference. There are actually pecans in the cereal. This is one of my favorite Special K products.

I love this cereal...actually I love every variety in this Special K cereal but this is probably my favorite. I love the crunchy pecans and the cinnamon taste...it is not too much but just a hint of cinnamon. So yummy that I could eat the whole box if I let myself.
