    I love the boots. They look incredible. They're warm, light, and comfortable enough. However, the insole tore up within the first week. I replaced it with a Dr. Scholl's and the boot is totes rad again. I just thought it was kinda whack that I had to spend an additional $10 after having spent so much on the boots themselves. I wrote Wolverine and sent them pictures, but they weren't too interested in my issue. They suggested I just send them back to Amazon. No biggie, I kept the boots and bought new insoles.

    I had been looking for a good solid rain shoe that could be worn in both warmer and colder weather. Of course I looked at the classic duck boot from LL Bean but as usual they were on backorder. I tried versions from Coach and Frye and finally settled on these after going to the Wolverine store here in New York. They are comfortable, nice looking and functional. And found them here on Amazon for about $60 less than the full retail price. I was previously unfamiliar with the Wolverine brand but I am a firm believer now.

    Really disappointed with the fit of these. I wish I could return them for a half size smaller. I already ordered a half size down from what I normally wear, but the boot is still too big. This was my first pair of Wolverine's and will probably be my last. All my other boots, mostly Red Wing, fit perfectly when I wear a half size too small, but these Wolverine's just feel sloppy and too big.

    Other than that, the construction is good and they did a great job in the snow or rain. It's a shame that I really don't want to wear them anymore. I would suggest ordering a whole size down.

    The materials and craftsmanship are high quality. However, as many others have said it runs big. Usually wear a size 9, but ordered a size 8.5 on the recommendation of the Amazon shoe size estimator. Size 8.5 still a half to a full size too large. Afraid to return and order another size because I think it would be too narrow. The size 8.5 is snug with a thick sock and comfortable with thinner socks. Seems designer designed them with very long, very narrow feet in mind!

    Great boot, the only reason it wasn't 5 stars is because one of the boot straps came unstitched the first day. Not a huge deal, and I would certainly buy them again. I don't think it was a sign of an inferior product.
