I got these for a super great price and they do an adequate job of compression, but are definitely not comparable to socks with a compression rating. In addition, the graphic on the back (looks like a circle on calf) was started to peel off from the moment I opened the package. I would say these are good for moderate workouts. I did like the motivational saying when you turn down the top of the sock though :-)

Very pleased with this purchase. Arrived quickly and as described. I'm 5'7" and they are plenty long enough. They are quite thick, so may be a little hot in the summer. I accidentally put them in the dryer (yes, I know they are neon!), but they didn't shrink :) Good compression and very comfortable. .
