I gave this two stars because my mom always taught me never to hate anything. Seriously, I thought these would be great for those home projects that require some magic to complete. The fell apart after one use. I was able to get the job done on my Jeep, but it broke these suckers quick. Made in China, Made to disappoint.

The metal of the tool seems okay. The molded handles feel cheap but will work. The issue is the case won't close, won't seal, is really bad and I feel one is paying for the case. But since the case is defective, <shrug> I'll talk to the seller and see what can be done.

The price of this pick/hook and driver set makes it a pretty good deal for what you get. This set includes 4 picks and 4 screwdrivers. (Slotted, Phillips and 2 torx drivers) These tools are on the smaller side. Better suited for fine/delicate work. They don't seem to be able to handle any extreme work. The shafts flex when too much pressure is applied to them. I'm using them for various electronics work so they are perfect for that.

Now the reason why I deducted a star is the carrying case that is included. I bought this set specifically because I wanted a case for the picks/hooks. I was tired of my hand getting pricked when blindly reaching into the tool bag and searching for a tool. But the carrying case is cheaply made out of very flimsy plastic. The case is designed to snap shut but because the plastic is so flimsy, it will not stay latched closed. I did try bending the little latch/clip thinking it was just misaligned but there is just too much play in the case that there isn't enough pressure to keep it closed. It just opens right back up. Now another observation, but not a big deal just a heads up FYI. The handles are not textured at all. The handles are very smooth and slick plastic. So if there is grease, oil or you just have sweaty hands they will have a tendency to slip out of your grip.

The tips can be unscrewed from the red middle section. This can be a perk if you only want one tool on at a time, but a drawback as they are somewhat easily unscrewed. Usage of threadstop fluid or even tape would probably resolve this issue.

Each end screws into the handle so when you use the pick it starts to come unscrewed a little and you have to tighten it again. I used two pliers and tightened it as much as I could but it still comes loose a little after a while. If I had to purchase a pick again i'd get picks that have fixed handles. Also I'd get one with a little larger handle so you could hold onto it easier if you were putting some pressure while twisting it.

If your handy this little set of tools is a must. i had a set but gave it to a friend as a gift. i then (about a month later) came across a o ring that needed to be replaced in a hose end quick connect. i purchased another set for me . also went on amazon and found a great assortment of o rings at a great price. no one else had them (try amazon first for the items you need , it'll save you time and money.). i'll buy it again if needed. capt ez

This is for the 9-piece hook/pick set. It doesn't include a case, just the tools. The reviews in this section cover 3 distinctly different tool sets, which can be confusing.

These hooks/picks are OK. They are pretty cheaply made but seem like they will be sturdy enough.
