I bought these 4mm shelf supports because I had a set of 5mm (bought elsewhere) that were just a bit too big for my shelves. However, it turned out the 4mm, while exactly as described and well made, were just a little too small. When I contacted the seller to initiate a return, they were quick to respond, courteous in their reply and help, and offered an easy solution and excellent service. Though I saw the 5mm shelf pins for slightly cheaper from other sellers, I definitely wanted to buy from these guys again if just for their customer service, but their products are great too! I completely recommend them both for their product and their service!

Finally, a well-made product from one of the few "Mom and Pop" Hardware stores left in our country. These shelf support pins are sturdy, and fit the hard-to-find shelf peg holes I have. When placed in the peg holes, the shelf is extremely sturdy. I do believe now, that the lightweight plastic pegs placed in shelf sets are a wonderful incentive to buy sturdy pins from the family-owned and operated Dugan Hardware Systems. I liked them so much, I ordered the 5mm for future shelving that require that sizing. Great company, Great Customer Service!

Product is good quality and arrived in a timely manner. Unfortunately it doesn't fit (to no fault of your own). After 5 purchases of shelf support pins in the 5mm size and none of them fitting the supposedly 5mm holes of my cabinet, nor being long enough to support the glass shelves I need them to support, I was hoping these 4mm pins would be the solution. However these are too small for the holes and fall out when inserted. Not worth returning them, so I'll keep trying to find the right ones.

We have three sets of shelves that are kept in our garage. I mostly keep extra canned goods and bowls and dishes on them and cleansers on the bottom shelves. The shelves have the predrilled holes on each side to put support tabs in them to set the shelves on. I recently cleaned off my shelves and reorganized them making things much easier to access items.

In doing the reorganization and getting rid of the over stuffed shelving items, I realized that I could move around and add another shelf to each case, making more storage. As the canned goods are quite heavy, this is a much needed shelf to add. My problem came when I tried to find the support clips. The predrilled holes in these units are extra small and all I could find in our local stores were tabs that were 1/4" in diameter. I found these 4mm pins and ordered them, hoping that they would fit. Perfect fit! My husband cut three extra shelves (one for each unit) and now I have a lot more storage. Thank you Dugan Hardware Systems for a great hard to find product that is much more durable than the plastic supports.

These shelf support pins come in a nice, labeled, recloseable box. They are sturdy, well-made metal pins that are made with good quality control (they're all the same -- not varying quality).

Be sure to measure carefully to know which size you need. I ordered the wrong size -- apparently I measured wrong, because these are perfectly 4mm, but do not fit the holes I need to put them in.

These are attractive, high-quality shelf pins conveniently boxed and well labeled. Unfortunately, we somehow missed the sizing chart on the product page and the 4mm turned out to be too small. When we contacted the seller they responded promptly and offered a satisfactory solution. I highly recommend their products and customer service. If you have any doubt about the size pins you need, you can contact their storefront, Cabinet Hardware Etc., to obtain a more comprehensive measuring guide that you print and hold up to the holes you are trying to fit.
