    I walk 3-5 miles a day and go through shoes every few months. I routine troll for a new pair at a decent price. I prefer New Balance and couldn't believe my luck when I found this shoe and in a wide size. I heeded the advice of other reviewers and ordered a 1/2 larger than normal. Some reviewers noted the lack of cushion and low arch support. Neither bothered me as I find more cushion makes shoes fit too tightly and a high arch makes my feet ache on longer walks. These shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable even on walks of 5 miles or longer. I still can't believe I got a pair of New Balance walking shoes for $24

    For me there was no cushion in these shoes. The other problem was I wear orthodics and the inserts in these shoes did not come out..

    I was very disappointed in this walking shoe. The arch seems to be situated too far back to be comfortable. Not the quality I expect with New Balance. I wore them for about an hour and my feet were sore. They were a 45% off deal, but I won't buy them again. They are advertised as a "walking shoe" - I walk approximately 4 - 5 miles a day and there's no way I could wear these sneakers. They would be worn out in a few short weeks.

    The picture of the shoe on here is a bit deceiving. It's a lot more narrow than I thought it would be, and the sides dig into your feet a little bit. I bought this as a workout shoe but it's just not that comfortable for a workout shoe. I'll use it for running errands, and for stuff around the house but I ordered a 10 C/D, and it probably is a wide shoe for this style of shoe but expect more of a Converse narrow than a New Balance wide.
    I ended up dishing out more bucks for a training shoe. New Balance WX711. So far I'm much more happier with that purchase than this one.

    These are cute sneakers BUT there is absolutely no arch support.They are completely flat. The insole is not removable, so it is impossible to put better inserts inside without the shoe being too small.

    Great price, good fit. I use an orthotic to support my arch, so it's inconsequential to me that it doesn't have great arch support. But it's probably significant to people who don't use orthotics. Very light weight and comfortable.

    My wife loves these shoes. She wears them all day long. Inside, outside, wherever she is always wearing them. She said she hasn’t worn shoes this comfortable in a very long time. I’d expect nothing less from New Balance. They always make amazing shoes. Both my wife and I wear this brand of shoes. While other name brands are very comfortable they are also more expense. Not only does New Balance make high quality shoes they also make them cost effective. It’s nice to know there is a brand of shoe you can buy online an when you get them they always fit as expected. These shoes are built to last and I wouldn’t be surprised if they lasted my wife several years.
