    If you buy your regular size there won't be enough room for your big toe - this is due to the shape of the front of the shoe. I would buy at least 1 size up for this shoe - even if you typically know your size with New Balance shoes.

    There really aren't ANY other options out there for wide-width, waterproof running shoes, so lucky that these fit and are comfortable! FYI, only one color is waterproof, the "Black/Grey"; on the photos, you can see the Gore-Tex tag (which does not appear in the other color's photos, so I'm guessing those are _not_ waterproof).

    I had the MT910V1 size 10 1/2, they were true to size with a supportive, secure fit for running or walking. This new version is a 1/2 size under sized, 11 are the same length as 10 1/2 in other shoes. v2 has the same firm sole as v1 but the toe area is b-i-g. If your foot was snug & supported in v1 then it will move & flop around in v2. Instead of just fixing the problem with the outer mesh on the v1 uppers lasting only a few weeks, for some reason NB decided that what we all really wanted was a loose, floppy running shoe. And they've hit the nail on head.

    Update 2:

    Actually the 14 4E were slight too big - I got some blisters because of them being loose. I 14 2E would be a better fit for the 13 $E. What interesting is that the shoe fitting tool says they'd both fit *perfectly*.

    Buying shoes online is still hard.

    Update:
    Amazon has introduced a new way to see if 1 pair of shoes compares against another pair.

    So I entered that I had the MT910v1s and wore them in 13 4E and they fit perfectly and Amazon recommended (with a fancy 3d graphic) that the V2 size would be 14 4e. Well I took a chance and ordered a pair and guess what -- they fit perfectly. Amazon gets a GOOD JOB from me.

    New Balance gets a SHAME ON YOU for wildly mis-sizing the V2 or these shoes.

    I was thrilled hearing that New Balance was making an updated version of the 910s, I still have my original pair (worn out but good for the beach) and would have re-purchased the v1s again if they were available.

    The bad news about the v2's is that the toe box area seemed significantly smaller and my big toe and the toe next to it hit the edge of shoe while walking, making it a very uncomfortable shoe.

    I experienced the same issue with there 1069s and it caused me to have x-rays done to determine if I had broken a toe (I didn't.)

    I returned them without trying a larger size because they stop offering .5 increments at 13 4E.

    I hope new Balance starts sizing their shoes correctly. I'd expect a v1 and v2 to offer the same toe box space.

    I gave them 2 starts because the black and orange coloring looks really good.

    I have bought several NB shoes in the past because I can get wide shoes in their brand. A lady at the place that I have custom insoles made (Flat Footed + Peripheral Neuropathy [severe foot pain] both feet ) said "You buy shoes like your mamma taught you" I said WELL YES...DUH!! She measured my feet at 11 E. She suggested that I try NB shoes because they have a wide TOE BOX!!! I went to a local shoe store & tried on some NB's & ended up with a 13 6E casual/dress shoe. I was AMAZED AT how they felt on my feet but I didn't think of an 13 6E fitting but I didn't care because of the COMFORT WAS GREAT. After that I found some NB's on AMAZON.com (M1540v2 13 6E) walking/running shoes & I love them. I wear them everywhere, Church, shopping, funerals or where ever because they feel so good. So about 7-10 days ago I got an email from Amazon about a newer shoe. I liked it & std. to order it & they said to enter the size of the last NB's, I did, & they said I should NOW buy a 15 4E shoe??? I thought this was odd but they make them so they should know!! WELL THEY DO!!! EXTRA TO SPACE IS GREAT!! WIDTH IS THE SAME!!!

    These shoes are really well made and the comfort level compared to my other shoes is through the roof. I ordered a half size up because of the sizing suggestion and wish I would have just stayed at my true size. I'll wear thicker socks with these shoes to make up for it but if you wear thin below the ankle socks, stay with your true size. NB seem to accommodate a naturally wider foot so don't go too crazy on the wide width either.

    Switching from Nike, Reebok, and Adidas...Those shoes are so narrow and uncomfortable where as the NB feel like pillows on my feet!

    A nice shoe. But. I normally wear NB 12 4Es (Leadville 1210s fit very well, especially the older version) and followed reviews and bought a 13 4E. It still was barely wide enough, and so I'm returning them.
