They are simply GREAT ! ... I work a 12 hour day doing elderly care & am on my feet most of those 12 hours....generally my legs ache at the end of the day & all thorough out the night- not with these shoes !!!

Soft landing, neutral cushioning

Very soft touch - not a responsive racing shoe but a great training shoe with a soft landing. Neutral in structure - so not a shoe you'd pick for any pronation correction per se. The 4mm heel to toe drop is great for mid-foot striking and the construction seems to be able to hold up with miles. Having tried the Zante against the Boracay, Zante has significantly more arch support. If arch support is what you're looking for, go with Zante. If you work well with a neutral shoe, low heel to toe drop, flexible soles and soft landing - Boracay should be great!

Love Fresh Foam

The Fresh Foam in these shoes is wonderful! I feel like I am walking on clouds! I bought these shoes to work in. I am on my feet a lot. I've been wearing NB for years, and this is my favorite pair ever.

Very comfy & stylish too.

I did not buy these from amazon because I wanted to try them on. I got them from my local new balance store. I bought them to only wear inside my gym. I have not worn them outside yet and do not plan to do so until about 3 months have gone by and I need to buy a new pair. For everything I do at the gym they are perfect. Very comfy for all the different classes I take as well as lifting and running in them. I did get fitted by the new balance fit specialist because I have extremely high arches which cause me to be the opposite of pronated. I also purchased a pair of inserts which make these sneakers the absolute best I've ever owned. I highly recommend. Can't wait to take these babies hiking and trail running this summer!

Not Sold on These Sneakers

I did a lot of product research before purchasing these sneakers to help train for my first 1/2 marathon, including going to two different running stores and being fitted for a shoe specific to my foot and running style. This was one of the shoes that was recommended to me and I solely went forward on this shoe since it was cheaper. They seem to do really well on treadmill runs, but I find hamstring pain when I run on pavement. The padding or "foam" in the shoe doesn't offer as much for cushion during runs. Lastly, let me first say that these shoes do NOT claim to be waterproof what so ever, but I just have to say this is the MOST water absorbing and retaining sneakers I have ever bought. I have been caught in the rain twice with these and they seem to act like a sponge when it comes to moisture.

I have to add that I think this is not a good running shoe for distance runners. I have put on approximately 200 miles I these and they are falling apart.

I like these shoes - they are very light and absolutely adorable. I have a wide ball of the foot and a narrow heel, so I ordered my usual New Balance size of 6.5 C/D. However, these run quite short. I am having to return them and order the next size up. Got my fingers crossed!
Note: I normally wear a 6.5 C/D in New Balance - Run between 6 1/2 wide and 7 normal in most shoes. Note: The D is not extremely wide- so great for those in betweenness.

A Pretty Face But...

I usually wear a 9.5 but ordered a 10 since it's a running shoe. Well, they are way too short so I only wore them long enough to figure that out. I also expected them to be better cushioned for running on a hard service, but they seemed too stiff and unforgiving. The best thing these shoes have going for them is their looks.

Disappointed feet

I usually wear a size 8.5B and although I ordered a size 9, my feet felt like they were in a vise. An attractive shoe, but I was hoping for much more comfortable shoe from New Balance. Best advice would be to go to a store and try them on before ordering them online.

Sneakers great for Zumba
