Very fashionable yet runs a bit small

These look better in person; you will notice that when your order arrives. However, I was slightly misled because I do have a pair of ML574s with a slight variation (perhaps its the forest/winter pack?) and they are the same size and supposedly the same width that fit fine, however these are a little tight. I do see that due to the fabric that they can be stretched after some wear and I will opt to do this only because I see that the wide ones are sold out in my size and I don't feel it's necessary to move a size up. Just keep this in mind if your have wide feet.

Update: Takes about an hour to break in. Feels fine now and worthy of a upgrade to 5 stars.

These shoes are fantastic! I run in these 3x a week

These shoes are fantastic! I run in these 3x a week, and it's like I'm walking on clouds; though admittedly that might be because they're not entirely broken in yet.

I'm not really sure what to say about these shoes. They fit, they're comfortable, and do their job well. When I get back from a run my chest burns, my legs are sore, but my feet feel just fine. This is only my second pair of New Balance shoes, but I will definitely be purchasing from them again in the future.

Great! Good sizing

I really like them. Vivid color, good stitching and material, comfortable, stylish. The only issue I have is that they need breaking in. 10.5 2E. There is some padding under the tongue that presses down onto the foot, but it gets better everyday. The toes and rest of the foot are super comfortable right away, just a little tight across the top to start.

the perfect fit

When I pulled the shoes from the box they looked just like th photo. Once unstuffed of the tissue paper I put the shoe on and it felt like a dream. The perfect fit. That's what I love about New Balance shoes, own one pair the rest you buy in the future will fit trouble free, unlike other shoe companies. They a comfy and are a great shoe.

Overall a good value in shoes

This shoe runs about a half-size too small for me. However, I think that in time it will stretch a bit to accomodate my foot better. I certainly hope so....I cannot say I wasn't warned by other reviews saying the shoe would be a little small. Overall, I am satisfied and don't feel like bothering with a return. I really like New Balance shoes and will definitely be purchasing more, if only a little bit larger size.

Perfect sizing. I wear these with whatever I feel ...

Don't believe the folks who say you need to order a size up. Not true. These fit true to size. Perfect sizing. I wear these with whatever I feel like wearing and I look cool because who wears red new balance? Nobody. I'm always the only guy in the room with these stupid shoes on and I'm not a hipster I'm just a dude who wanted some red shoes. I was at a puppet show in Calhoun Square in Minneapolis and some dude was wearing these and then I went on Amazon.com and bought a pair, but not a gray pair, like that dude had on. These are better. They're red. They feel good on my feet and I feel a little bit like an astronaut for some reason because they're so "space shuttle".

Solid Shoes

Overall I like these shoes. I have an E and 2E width foot, so getting shoes this size in stores is hard. I generally run with New Balance because I know their fit, and these fit how they should. My only gripe is the laces. I know the laces are meant to go with the shoe style, and they do, but I don't like the way they feel when tightening them, as though there's a lot of friction between them and the shoe, which could lead to them breaking or excessive wear on the eyelets. The other thing is my laces come untied easily. It happens at least once a day while at work, and yes, I know how to tie a shoe! Hopefully it's just a new lace thing, and neither of these complaints would stop me from buying the shoes again, but I've got plenty of other shoes that don't untie (and one other pair that does), hopefully new rounder laces will fix this.
