Get these boots for your kids!

Dec. 29th 2015: We have purchased this particular brand and type of boot for our son for a good few years now. Any time we open our shoe cabinet, there is a pair of these in there as his "go to" boots for winter. After trial and error, we came across these while looking for effective boots when our son used to go on forest days while we were living in Germany. In German Kindergartens, the kids go on forest day trips once a week, no matter whether there is sun, snow or rain! For the winter forest trips (and there were some days with a lot of snow!), we found these boots to be excellent as the insulation liners work really well and can be easily removed from the boot to allow breathe. After removing the insulated liner, I would usually wash any excess mud or dirt off and then then just throw the boots into our washing machine, resulting in clean boots every time he took them out! I have never once heard my son complaining of cold feet with these boots.
Other good points are:
1) the elastic draw string which can be pulled a little tight to ensure no snow gets into the boots (which is also a great feature if you use them for sledding!)
2) the Velcro band in the middle of the boot that keeps the boot fit snuggly on small feet
3) the sole and "shoe" of the boot is a one piece molded part, which means water can't penetrate
4) you can see from the sole pattern that these boots have good grip
5) the upper part of the boot is made from waterproof nylon material which means that they are really flexible and don't restrict movement.
A really great boot. I highly recommend them.

These are hands down the best boots I have bought my child

These are hands down the best boots I have bought my child. They shipped quickly. The color and quality is great. My son can wear any sized sock and his foot is still warm out in the snow. The strap across the top keeps the boot fitting snug and the top drawstring is perfect for preventing snow to get down inside the boot. They aren't too high up on my child's leg and are easy to get one. I would recommend these to anyone. Fabulous buy! I wish I had found them sooner!!

Kids can stay out for hours!

I bought these for my daughter for next winter though due to our crazy weather she ended up being able to use them a couple of times already. My son and other daughter have the same type and we have been very happy with these. I paid WAY more for theirs. If you keep an eye out for snow boots during the "off" season you can find them for a great deal. I paid $40 or so for both my son and one of my daughters boots and that was on sale. I found these for less than $12!!! I was shocked. Kamik is a great brand.
The boots have a liner that you can take in and out so depending on the amount of snow and severity of the cold you don't have to keep it in. It is also very convenient to take out if they do get snow inside the boots. They dry much quicker if you take them out. Also there is a pull cord on the boot so you can cinch them quite tightly to keep snow out of their boots. The boots are rated -40* so I would say these are very good for any winter weather. My kids can literally stay out for hours with these boots. When you live in New England you definitely need the right winter gear. We have purchased other brands of boots and will continue to buy Kamik for my kids. I am very pleased with my purchase!

So Warm and Comfy!

These boots are very well made. I love the features they offer like the super warm lining, the velcrow closure to make sure you have a secure fit and the pull tie on top so that you can keep the snow out of your little ones boots! They are super warm and comfy and I can rest assuraed knowing my little one won't be coming in from the snow with wet cold feet. The color is also very vibrant and nice!

Good snow boots for the price

These are great boots. They kept my feet warm and had great traction so I did not slip at all. I'm a size 5-5.5 in women and went with a youth 4. It was slightly big on me so the boots rubbed the back of my foot and hurt a little bit after wearing them for about 4 hours. I think maybe it would rub less if I wore thicker socks.

Great snow shoes

Ordered 1.5 size larger than daughter wears so they can hopefully last through next winter. Even though, big, the velcro at the ankle kept the boots on and she was able to walk comfortably. Great price, too!
