This is such a awesome boot. It was worth EVERY penny I paid for the boots.

Grip wise, it has been really wonderful, being in rainy and snowy weather, I have yet to feel like I was going to slip. Going into stores after walking around in the rain, I can confidently walk in the stores without worrying about slipping because you can actually feel the shoes grip.

Warmth wise, it is extremely warm. I feel like it is actually a bit too warm. So far been trying it in 30ish degree weather and It feels really hot.

Comfortability wise. I've worn these all day long and never had to take them off. They dont feel too heavy to me, and have walked around so much in them without noticing or complaining about pain.

Size wise, I thought they were a little too big at first but they are actually just right. I usually wear a size 11 and I bought a size 11.5 and they still work fine on me. They dont feel too tight or too loose. I ocassionally wear wool socks with them, but without the wool socks, they still fit right.

Woman's perspective

I am a woman size 8.5 and tried these because I was having trouble finding a black, insulated women's winter shoe that I liked. I ordered these in a men's 7. Please read all fitting comments from that perspective. I thought the shoe didn't provide quite enough arch/ankle support. The ankles simultaneously fit a little loose, but my ankle bones rubbed against the zippers. Thicker socks may help with that though. I found getting my foot into the shoe caused my sock to get pulled a little snug, so it is a bit of a tight fit through the opening in the boot. Once my foot was in place in the boot though, it felt fine. The only parts of the shoe that feel insulated are the upper parts (leather bits). The soles do not feel very insulated to me, especially not in comparison to Merrell or Keen's insulated soles that I have tried.

The bottom part of the shoe is attractive and plain enough to wear under slacks. The lug soles do show a bit, but they aren't terrible. The circumference of the top of the boot is wide enough on my legs to show protruding a bit under legging (polyester/rayon) slacks since there is a 1.5" gap between the edge of the top of the boot and my shin. It only shows really noticeably when sitting. Stiffer pants legs may not show as much. Tucking looser-fit leggings into these shoes did not work since the fabric bunched above the tops of the boot. The aesthetic is such that I would wear these under slacks if I were cold enough and I would also wear them for a more slouchy look with tighter leggings or skinny jeans perhaps.

Not sure whether I'll keep these or not, but they are a contender!

What the hell are you selling?? I thought I was buying a new boots not a used one!!,
The boots had numerous scratches and the leather portion had tarnished chemical stain front side.
This looks like a fricken demo shoes that was resold.

Comfortable, waterproof and great easy to slip off/on

I'm a size 12, ordered as such and they fit me perfectly. I really wanted a boot that would be easy to slip on and off and they are great. Have worn them in the wet a few times now and my feet have been kept dry. It hasn't been exceptionally cold here in Minnesota yet but i think some good socks will be needed to protect my feet in the extremes.. Great product, very comfortable, waterproof and I highly recommend

Simple and Indestructible

Got these as a Christmas gift and I love them!

I have a pair of Timberland Earthkeepers, size 13, in brown and wanted more of a winter boot that I could easily put on and take off. These babies do the trick.

I feel indestructible wearing these bad boys and can't wait for a big snowstorm to hit so I can really put them to full use.

The only complaint I guess is they run a little big as the size 13's I got were a little loose at first, but with thicker socks and proper insoles, they fit like a glove.

Great boots!

Got these delivered the day of 2016 Blizzard. I have been wearing them nonstop since Friday (48 hrs) and I'm in love. My feet have yet to be cold. The boot really conforms to your foot. That's why people say the boot is tight, because the zipper provide little support so the boot hugs your foot. They have great traction, and have seemed light overall. I've owned many pairs of boots, many from timberland. If you're looking for a great boot that's works well in the snow, look no further.

I received used boots !!

These boots were clearly used before. The products itself is great and the boots are comfy but I'm disappointed with my purchase since I got a refurbished or used boot. I was planning to give it to my freind as a birthday gift but i dont think i can confince him these are new !! And since i am a international buyer it will be expensive to return. so i stock with them.

Impossible to get these on -- disappointing

My husband was unable to get one foot into the boot at all, even with a shoe horn. He could get the other boot on only with a struggle. The zipper opening (zipper ends a bit high on the boot) and narrow ankle make it impossible for him to use them, although the boots themselves looked well made. He does not have a wide foot or super big calves. We returned and ordered a different brand.
