This is a review of the MiFine B820 portable FM radio/digital audio player. I was provided a free sample for review.

It's hard to believe this inexpensive FM radio sounds, performs and looks so good. I never expected to hear such nice and actuallly loud sound coming out of this little device.

Included in the box is the radio, battery, wrist strap, USB to Mini USB cable and user guide.

It's powered by a rechargeable 2200mAh Lithium Ion battery which is charged using the provided cable.

The front of the radio has a numeric keypad with Mode (M) and FM buttons. On the side is a headphone output, USB output, Mini USB Input and rotary volume/on-off dial. On the top is play/pause, forward and backward buttons. The radio uses a telescoping FM antenna that gives good reception when extended. Unfortunately the antenna has a very cheap snap closure to hold the antenna which snapped in it's first use.

This is more than just an FM radio (no AM, just FM). It's also a digital clock and that is displayed on the LCD panel. But wait, there's more... it's also able to play MP3's from either a MicroSD card or from a USB flash drive. You can also connect the radio to your PC or Mac using the provided cable and that allows you to transfer files to and from the memory card or flash drive. It's slow to do it that way however.

The radio has a small driver (speaker) and bass radiator behind the metal grill. It sounds surprisingly good for such an inexpensive device.

I like that when I use a memory card to play music that the radio remembers where I was when I turn the radio back on. You can also direct access a particular track by using the keypad rather than tediously pressing forward or backward to get to where you need to get to.Read more ›

A small device with a lot of functions and power. A FM radio and a music player plus.
For years I have not owned a radio except for a $500.00 ham radio. I been using my ham radio for years to listen to NPR radio in the kitchen when I do the dishes or cook.
I was sent this Mifine radio to review. It is great. Wow a $16.00 FM radio and music player for that price.
It received FM radio great. The audio is great. (I have a lot of hearing loss. But it sounds great.)
I put in a 2GB microSD card, it is what I had on hand, but I do not think I will be putting any music on the SD card. I will just use the radio when I am in the kitchen. I am not much of a music fan. Just listen to NPR radio on FM.
The price right now on Amazon is $16.00 and it is a great buy.

Where do I start first of all when I bought this it was just 9.99 a steal in itself. I has a clock and it automatically searches and locks in like 29 fm stations. At that point you can forward to the next or simply punch in the frequency from the keypad exp 971 will find you 97.1 as easy as that. When you turn off and back on it will come to the last station. The clock is a 24 hour and so simple to set change modes to clock to see time and back to radio. Another cool thing is after a few minutes the display goes off to save battery . It plays from a usb stick immediately upon inserting it and interesting hardly drops the volume maybe one or two levels from the radio. Another nice thing is that others have said that volume 1 isn't low enough for the office but this one is and you can actually go to zero. Another a nice touch is that the supplier YingFang sent me a nice email before I received it thanking me a if any problems the would certainly take care of. There were none it is that good very well made and I like that the headphone jack is on the end so you can slip it into your pocket and the cable is free. I should mention that this revised for model Q22 and it uses a bl5c battery readily available at Amazon for about four bucks if you want a spare. Lastly the radio plays for about ten hours a little less when using usb stick and charges up in about 2 to 3,hours would I recommend Yes and I already bought another for my son. I'm sure I will be buying more for the grandkids when they see it. A True Five star product

GREAT sound, 32gb SD capacity, CORRECTION!!! JUST POPPED IN A 64gb micro and it WORKS!! Radio station programing virtually non existent. It will auto program but picks up and stores stations just before(.1Mhz) the designated frequency. The programing order is not changeable. Would not stop at 102.1 which is one of, if not the, most powerful stations in my area. With 64bg of music on the SDXC card, I wont be listening to the radio anyway. No station memory when battery pulled out, which can be a good thing. Yes the battery can be charged in the unit so removal is not necessary, but I use the same battery in many flashlights I have so I will just swap it out for a fully charged one and go. But hey at 56 I'm the "elderly" this radio is intended for. I wonder what the Kiddies under 40 are using? Bring Back 45s! The sound is exceptional for the size. It is a keeper and the price is right.

I wanted to use this while working in my yard or snow-blowing etc. but the only things that blows is this device! I could be wrong but this device is not useful in the USA. I can't tune it into stations that I know the frequency, yet it picks up static. NPR is a total no no. Also the rechargeable battery has got to be the cheapest thing I have ever seen. It lasted 3 charges and then promptly died! I know it was cheap and I shouldn't expect much but come on!!!! Its too late for me to return it so I will just put it down to experience. Spend $10 more and get something that works, if only for 1 season.

UPDATE: All of the negative reviews receive the same 'boiler-plate' response. We have 30 days to return but contact our customer service team. As I outlined in my review my device is outside the 30 days. I am going to contact them and I will update this with the response.
