This racket is a great starter racket for the total beginner who isn't sure if they will be playing more than a couple times a year. I bought it a long time ago on Amazon to play and learn with, then quickly upgraded racquets about 4 or 5 months later once I realized I love the sport. Those 5 months allowed me to truly enjoy learning the game for a minimal investment.

Now for the nitty-gritty, since the specs aren't on the frame itself:

The oversize (110 sq. in.) head size provides you with a larger sweet spot for a more forgiving racket on mishits. This is perfect as it is very encouraging for a beginner or inexperienced player.

The racket weighs in at 11.5oz strung (326g). Unstrung that would be around 10.9oz (309g) so it may be a bit on the heavier side for a very small kid or older (65 yr. old) player. However, it is a nice weight overall - in fact the racket I initially upgraded to had a fairly comparable weight although a smaller head size. As a general guideline, you're supposed to use the heaviest racket you can handle for a few hours of play without exhausting your muscles by the end of the matches due to the weight.

The balance of the racquet is 3 points head-light. Adding this spec for those who are wanting to know, but basically that means it's easily maneuverable and you won't struggle with it in your hands at the net or on the serve, or even at the baseline. It's a very nice balance point.

The strings never broke on me which was nice, as by the time they loosened up enough to get it restrung I was ready to upgrade rackets. Not sure which strings they put in it, but they did provide good power and I was able to apply good spin to the ball as well.

Overall, I didn't care about the specs at all when I bought it.

About the racquet: I have long fingers, and I got the 4 1/2 grip. It is a bit small for my hand
but if you've played tennis before, you know that you can (and should) buy "over grips" and shock absorbers
those accessories are pretty cheap and can be found at most sporting goods store or department
It comes strung tight enough to get straight on the court and looks exactly like the picture
This racquet is light to me, but to someone not as athletic, this racquet might get heavy after playing for awhile

I would definitely recommend racquet for any casual player and I would recommend it to competitive (league) players as a back up racquet. 5-stars for quality to price ratio.

My husband and i have recently started playing tennis few times a week .Since we are beginners i was looking for a racket that's not very expensive but at the same time a good one. Its a challenge to find one with will cover both the requirements and i found both of these in this racket. This racket is a great starter racket for the total beginner . I bought it a few weeks back on Amazon for my husband to play and learn with minimal investment. We use this four times a week and my husband finds this racket a great one to play with. The oversize head size provides you with a larger sweet spot for a more forgiving racket which is perfect as it is very encouraging for a beginners like us.The racket weighs in at 11.5oz strung (326g). Unstrung that would be around 10.9oz (309g) so it may be a bit heavier but works fine with him as a beginner. It's a very nice balance point. The strings are good and hasnt broke which was nice given the fact that we are learning and use the rackets really rough.
Overall, we are happy with the racket and will recommend this racket for the beginner like us!

I play tennis for recreation only. I recently bought this racket when I started playing and, so far, the experience has been very good. The price is not too much and the racket seems decent enough for beginner level playing.

With the right grip size, this racket was perfect for my son, age 15 to take a 10 week tennis class over the summer. He was using an older version of the same quality. After replacing his old racket with this new one, he improved a great deal. This was just the right size and quality to continue growing in his skills. It's inexpensive enough to use for a couple of years and then replace if he finds he wants to play tennis more regularly.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It is a good beginner's racquet. He wanted one so he could play tennis with our kids who had lessons over the summer. It seems to be well made. We don't know much about tennis racquets but worked out well for us.
